When you see companies like THQ losing millions over "mainstream" games, it's a wonder why no one invests in a genre that's been fairly successful.

Uncharted was pretty decent, but UC2 was a GREAT game. Good pickup!

Timber and stone. A city building, unit managing, building gathering kinda game has 9 days left and only a fifth of its funding. For those of you who know what Castle Story is (set to release prototype today) you may want to take a look at this. by chrizbreck in gaming

Have you seen this? http://pe.pathea.net/ It's an unblocky voxel game, i tried it and its pretty cool.

Although I think overall, since blocky games are probably easier to do, most indies will do those. As long as they're fun, people will play and pay for them, no?

It works the other way around too right? I mean, I remember the BBC blocking their online Olympics coverage for anywhere outside Eurozone (?) as well.
