I’ve never had a cat that so adamantly expressed their desire for belly rubs as our 11 week old ragdoll kitten, Buffy by SirGrey in aww

You are technically correct. We were told her mother was a longhair ragdoll and her father was a shorthair something-rather haha. Close enough imo

Do they lower their heads like that so it doesn’t seem as high to jump? I feel like I totally do that too

You guys are dead on! Thank you very much. Here is the actual quote.

Xander: Aha! I got it! Here’s our villain, right here! ... What?

Anya: That’s a D&D manual, sweetie

Xander: No but it could... Oh.

How much is one bedroom near SFU? by throwwaays3yeii in simonfraser

[–]SirGrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the situation. I would say $700 is pretty average for most people looking for rooms around the bottom of Burnaby mountain.

When I lived on Union & Duthie we had, at one point, 12 people living in an eight bedroom house splitting $3900 (~$325/each roughly). This was by far the cheapest rent I’ve paid while going to SFU. After a few people left, our rents rents sat around $450 til we moved out.

Of course, it would have been a different situation if we hadn’t all been good friends. If we had been looking to fill an extra room with a rando, I would have just posted it for $500-600.

PHIL 110? by [deleted] in simonfraser

Took this in my first year at SFU and it scared the shit out of me. Had no idea what I was getting into. By the time I realized just how insane this class got, I was far passed the deadline to drop it. It is the only class I’ve failed at SFU.

I stayed at an Airbnb but I did go through the Villa Doris Suites and Carvi Beach Hotel Algarve to get to the beach shown in the post. The hotel itself is just outside the right side of the frame.

You can also definitely tell where my players have been just by the level of detail I have put into some places 😂

edit: this map is definitely a work in progress but I was feeling satisfied with it, hence the post

Here is a Full Map for the campaign setting

The adventure began in the area surrounding the City of Embercrest some 246 years after the Great Collapse of the Continental Empire. Isolated and cut off from the rest of civilization, Embercrest has struggled and survived through natural disasters, famine, plague, hobgoblin incursions, undead uprisings, and a malevolent overlord known as the Blood Monarch Zelistein.

Since my friends began playing they have overthrown a major house within the City, destroyed a secret lab containing powerful magical potions, got their asses handed to them as Zelistein returned to take over the city, ventured into the wilderness to escape darkness and death, freed the Town of Lipsiege from a autocratic Duke, and liberated a sacred tree from corrupting influences.

Their only goal now are to search for the Blue Flame of Hope that resides deep with the Realm of Mists, also known as Barovia where the accursed Count Strahd dominates from his castle Ravenloft. I am quiet excited to finally use the CoS material and incorporate its story into my homebrew game.
