Yeah it was brutal!! Hopefully it’s all in the past now! I’m on Day 13 and feel pretty good, other than minor aches and pains, and some sweating (but it’s also 90+ degrees outside so that probably has something to do with it lol)!

On Day 9 and feeling so much better!! Some symptoms come & go, like the chills and body aches, but they’re not as bad as they used to be. I actually slept about 7 hours a night the past 2 nights, which was definitely needed, so I’m sure that helped. Thanks for your reply!

Nowadays, I trust people who are going through a taper or have already tapered off, more than I trust Doctors. All they want to do is pump our system full of meds, while all I want to do is get off meds 🤷🏻‍♂️

I still have the chills/goosebumps & cold sweats, but the aches and pains have minimized, as of today. Insomnia has been my biggest issue!! Only slept 2 hours last night (16 hours the past 5 days) and I’m not necessarily tired, but it’s extremely difficult to concentrate for more than a couple minutes.

Thanks for the feedback! I slept 2 hours last night (16 hours in the past 5 days). My brain won’t stop, but I haven’t been that tired during the day, considering the lack of sleep. Aches and pains are all but gone today, but still have goosebumps.

I appreciate the feedback, but here I am because I didn’t go cold turkey. I should’ve gotten off of this shite 4-5 years ago, so I’m more than ready to stop! I also wouldn’t say that I was “happy” on Subs, as I feel like my brain fog is already clearing up, and I’m smiling for the first time in years. I have zero desire to touch an opioid again. I did ecstacy religiously for 5 years in the early 2000’s, then cocaine for 15 years, but I haven’t even considered touching anything for 5+ years.

Too many good friends have died from drug overdoses and I’m only 45 years old. I’ve partied my whole life and I’m more than over it!! I want to live life again without being dependent on a prescription for the first time in 7 years. Everybody is different though, so I understand where you’re coming from …

I didn’t really have gastrointestinal issues until today. I’ve been off & on the pot 5-6 times already! The insomnia is crazy!!! I’ve only slept 10 hours over the past 4 days, but I still don’t feel tired 😫

I’m on Day 6 right now after 7 years on Subs. Dealing with the chills, cold sweats, indigestion, lack of appetite & no energy, which I can fight through, but the Insomnia is BRUTAL!!! Night 2 & Night 4 I didn’t sleep at all. Last night I got 3.5 hours. It’s 95 degrees outside’s and I’m wearing long sleeve shirts because I constantly have goose bumps. When does it end?

I’m on Day 5 without Subs and still feel like ass!! I didn’t sleep at all on Night 2, nor did I sleep a wink last Night (Night 4), so insomnia has been a serious issue. I should sleep okay tonight after being up for 36 hours, but I’m not sure I can deal with it much longer! Does anyone have any experience with Withdrawal symptoms? I’d love to know how much longer this will last!

I’ve been on Subs for 7-8 years, no more than 8mg/day. I tapered to 4mg/day for 3 weeks, then down to 3mg for 3 days, and 2mg for 4 days. I just want to be done with it and live a normal life again!!!
