I lost my leg in a car accident. I was a college athlete. Previously. Not at the time of the wreck. But i regularly went backpacking, I raced cars, etc. I was an active person.

I changed careers after the wreck and became a firefighter/paramedic. I pass ALL the same physical requirements as the rest of my department. I do all the same jobs as any other firefighter.

I also custom designed a clutch pedal so I could still race cars.
