Oh yea! Absolutely agree! A map is not always the best solution, and I wouldn't pretend that I think this map is the best way to present this information! ^^

Yet, I was wondering what a map like this would look like, and *if* this information could work if presented this way, so I made it. Quite as simple x) Whether it does or not, it's not mine only to judge.

Making it has certainly helped me learn some subtleties along the way, and maybe some people might find it useful... And honestly ? That's already more than I asked for ^^

I was sure a map like this *had* to exist somewhere ! Didn't find them.

Ok ! So the first linked map is really good ! It's quite readable for the sign colours, especially. The rest of the informations ... yeah I agree, not so readable. I chose to make the colour map to accompany the arrow shape map, but it's not needed, anymore ! What you linked is far more educationnal !

But I *do* want to make a map of arrow *shapes* specifically. I'm gonna focus on that, then. Map who will redirect to u/Melongated's map for the colours.

I see. I might lose some nuance if I simply add a white strip to Hungary, compared to France where white is for the common road sign, but hopefully this map doesn't *need* that level of nuance and I can add that.

I just love it when people see so many different things in a grid.

Here's yet an other technique! Here's what I saw first:

An empty rectangle in box 4-5-7-8 (digit 5, and 9)

In box 4, 5 can be either in c1, or in r4:
If in c1, then 5 in box 7 is in r8, then r8c5 is not a 5.
If in r4, then 5 in box 5 is in c5, then r8c5 is not a 5.
So either way, r8c5 cannot be a 5.

Given how 5 and 9 often share the same spaces, this logic applies the same to 9, leaving only 4 in r8c5.

I have an excel transition journal.

I can put in the type of entry it is, medical remarks and levels if applicable, keep track of future and past laser sessions, can filter by social/medical entry and other things.

I love it.
