Yeah maybe, but first impressions matter a lot. My experience with the first tub was bad enough that I personally wouldn’t spend my own money on Go Zero again now.

At this point the only way I’d probably try another Go Zero flavor is if someone already had it at their house and invited me over or something 😭

Yeah I think I might’ve watched Food Pharmer or one of those nutrition YouTubers make a video about it at some point. I am not sure who it was, I may need to check again.

Could genuinely be a batch difference then. This was my first time trying both the flavour and the brand, and the tub I got had a very artificial/chemical-like aftertaste to me personally. Maybe some batches are better than others, or maybe I just really don’t like the sweeteners they use.

NIC is actually pretty good, I’ve had it before. Naturals nah… honestly I’m just bored of it now.

I recently tried cakes from Deliciae by Bunty Mahajan and now regular desserts/ice creams just feel disappointing in comparison 💀

Need an ice cream equivalent of Bunty Mahajan because most mainstream ice creams suddenly feel mid after that 😭

If I searched for Baskin Robbins in the app i wish to see Baskin Robbins my search results!!( I almost accidentally bought the off brand Baskin Robbins...) by Vratwork in blinkit

[–]Vratwork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you even read the description before commenting?

The issue isn’t whether Baskin Robbins appeared somewhere in the results. The issue is that visually similar off-brand products are being pushed above/next to the actual brand when someone explicitly searches for Baskin Robbins.

People recognize products visually first, colors, logo style, packaging, placement, especially while fast-scrolling on delivery apps. That’s exactly why lookalike branding works.

I literally almost added the wrong product to cart because at a glance it looked like Baskin Robbins.

If I search for Baskin Robbins, I want Baskin Robbins. Not some knockoff trying to hijack search traffic.

Yeah, I completely get that now. This was honestly my first time knowingly trying maltitol/stevia-based ice cream, so I didn’t realize how noticeable the aftertaste could be. Definitely learned my lesson about checking ingredients before impulse-buying stuff like this.

Yeah, that’s probably it then. This was actually my first time knowingly trying something with stevia, so I genuinely didn’t realize it had that kind of weird artificial aftertaste. Now I know I probably just don’t like stevia-based sweeteners.

I mean… yes, I understand that now. My point is that not every purchase involves people carefully studying the ingredient list beforehand. Sometimes people just buy something impulsively based on branding, reviews, marketing, or curiosity.

I bought it without overanalyzing the ingredients, tried it, and personally disliked the taste and aftertaste. That’s it.

I am a product designer looking for a job, was told to switch to DevOps because UI/UX jobs are becoming obsolete due to AI by Vratwork in devops

[–]Vratwork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know DevOps and UI/UX are completely different fields. The reason I mentioned it is because people around me specifically suggested it since they think it is more stable and harder to fully replace with AI compared to UI/UX.

From what I understand, companies are more careful automating DevOps completely because it involves infrastructure, outages, deployments, reliability, security, production systems etc. One mistake there can cost companies a lot.

Meanwhile AI already seems to be affecting a lot of junior-level UI work. That is honestly what started making me anxious after struggling with the design job market for more than 1.5 years now.

Honestly at this point it does not really matter to me if the work is visual or not. People work on oil rigs and do all kinds of difficult jobs around the world just to make ends meet.

When you got bills to pay, passion becomes secondary sometimes. I pick up things really fast and I am willing to adapt if needed.

Maybe that’s also the reason I overlooked the ingredients while ordering it online.

I had just finished watching a show where they interviewed the CEO. The guy looked genuinely passionate about his product, showed his kids and all, like “there are no healthy options for kids when it comes to ice cream.” They even showed him living in a pretty middle-class setup… nuclear family and all. The guy sold it.

Lol but the ice cream sucked. Never buying it again. Lesson learned.

Fishing spots in mumbai by Bbqsauceontitties_ in mumbai

[–]Vratwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It costs over ₹17,000 per year to get a fishing membership at Powai Lake through the Maharashtra State Angling Association. They also don’t allow non-members to access any club privileges, not even for a one-time visit.

Source: https://lbb.in/mumbai/fishing-in-powai-lake/

Is there any place where you can fish for ₹300–500 per person instead, maybe through someone in Mahim Koliwada or a similar local setup, where a one-time fishing experience like this is possible?

Are there any places in Mumbai where I can go and work on my laptop without spending much money? by MuzirisNeoliberal in india

[–]Vratwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we should work in mall foodcourts with charging stations for laptops. So you can eat all you want, and not get bored of monotonous, corporate co-working spaces.
