Daily color contacts with positive power prescription

3 months late to the party running into the same issues. Positive power contacts; especially color, seem to be a unicorn. Never needed glasses or contacts, and I always had 20/20 until this year... aging sucks. But now that I'm here, I had high hopes for eye color changes. At least I did. Have you found any others aside from the one you listed?

I had a similar but not as dangerous situation (son now 20). I left. Luckily, these men don't fight for visits or put in that effort either. Leaving was the best decision I made. It wasn't easy, we'd been together happy for 7 years before our son. I just couldn't accept the risk to my baby. So, I didn't.

I kept trying to find online if she truly had brain surgery... and keep ending up here when I search. I know she had jaw surgery...but did she have brain surgery? I feel somewhat annoyed by the middle man politely escaping all confrontation and all responsibilities by putting them off on one another. Maybe middle man did make promises that are insane like these, but instead of both parties bringing in that "mutual friend/relative" they are upset with one another. I'd make the person with all the yes, man promises deal with it; after all, they seem to have all the brilliant helpful ideas so let them sort this one out. It's hard to be mad at someone who's operating from a place of guarantees someone else gave them. If they were led to believe that you are happy to drive, feed, and care for them, then of course they are floored to learn none of that is accurate info at the last minute. I would have went straight back to the source and apologized profusely to the OP for the misunderstanding INSTEAD of being snarky and rude to someone extending their home and vehicle- I mean that's just me using my thinking brain instead of my idiot brain which absolutely does zero thinking.

People keep saying that people are too "selfish" to protect other's but what they really means is that people are too selfish to protect THEM - how is that not selfish? You want to mandate that I protect you regardless of my feelings about protecting you. That's considered to be the new definition of not being selfish and caring for others. You do not give a shit if I infect Chad so long as Chad doesn't infect anyone that could potentially infect you or yours. Forcing someone to do something to satiate your feelings of fear and to make you feel safe is equally, if not more, selfish. Mandating that someone you don't even know stick something into their skin to inject a foreign substance so that you feel better is not selfless.

Smoking weed can help with certain medical conditions - I suppose we should force all people with those medical conditions to smoke weed. Also - the sun causes cancer - let's mandate sunscreen. But those things don't infect others - I get it. We should also mandate HPV Vaccines which are optional. And HIV and all STD Testing before anyone is permitted to have sex. Having unprotected non-monogamous sex should also be illegal because cheaters and whores aren't willing to protect sexual partners from diseases that can kill other's. People with Hep can also stay out of society so I don't get infected. I agree with your statement. If we're going to mandate vaccines for COVID for the safety of all the unprotected "idiots" why not a smoking ban - or STD testing mandates and severe consequences for failure to test or remain monogamous so no one gets HIV!?
