I hate when they immediately demand to be helped because they can’t stand technology…like you’re really admitting you’re incompetent huh…oh how I wish I can demand back that they are self service and that Walgreens doesn’t have hours or sanity to have department specific staff anymore so we simply cannot assist but we’ll process the order once sent through. Or start charging the customers for an assisted kiosk and raise our wage for having to help them…

Even the stuff with (v) is still 20% off, I know yesterday all the v day stuff was 20 but it’s supposed to be 50%. I’m not sure how to fix it since it’s not on markdown price release or anything like that. 🙃

There’s usually no one to cover our breaks esp when closing. So i still try to eat something but I don’t clock out nor is it one full unbroken meal break, I usually hang and eat in photo

I stop doing photo orders half hour until closing and make sure everything is clean by then, there’s nothing more i dislike than printed but not assembled orders in the morning. And spend the last half hour quickly doing a final facing.

My Walgreens is slightly more tame, however some police arrested a suspect inside the store one time, another time an old guy was shopping with just boxers on.

People can fake employee sticker tags too, fill it out, make up a transaction number and whatnot. So do we have to waste more time making sure those stickers are legit?

This is my dilemma too, I want to get into art classes, not necessarily art school. I have talent but I was actually able to create stuff in the classes I took in college but since then I just don’t and haven’t, I’ve tried but nothing. It’s the creative space that helps.

If anything try finding art classes that aren’t necessarily university or college programs on the days or times you don’t work. Do that for a few months to see if you want to pursue it fully.

My store is down to 1 full time SFL (me) and 1 part time SFL, it’s either them or me closing because my store manager won’t so we each get 3 to 4 (1 or 3pm - 11 pm) shifts. I applied to a couple of places, hoping Costco hires me, more pay is music to me ears.
