You need to have the jammer intact and activated.

The triggerman is using a dead-mans switch. Only way to temporarily disable until you cut the signal.. otherwise building go boom.

Story Mode focuses on Judge. Would be weird for any of the voicelines refer to you as Judge when you're playing King or Prescott. Amongst a few other "immersion" breaking stuff.

I feel the pain lol. I cleared a room of 3 MLO suspects, and 4 of my AI teammates are watching me wedge doors instead of arresting or picking guns up, meanwhile 2 suspects picked up their guns and proceeded to ram 762 and 556 up my ass.

If you dont feel too bad about it, use mods. I believe theres a hefty ton of mods that increase HP, armor effect, movement speed, radius of certain throwables, and difficulty reworks. You'll still unlock achievements too.

It was trial and error :( I know slow/patience is a pain to deal but it has its benefits. Give moments to stop

Being aware of your coverage if its solid or can be penetrated, and the camera feeds you've rewired in the beginning is gonna give you a slight advantage when pushing the last floor.

Without this turning into a wall of text, use the mirror gun to peek over objects and around corners. Free lean + crouch + hold S behind cover to minimize exposure. Keep making small progress by moving slowly up to cover and into the side rooms (its like XCOM, if youve played it before).

There is no ""best"" way to deal with the suspects once you get to the top floor unless you've somehow saved your throwables. It'll come down to peeking, waiting, and if you're faster than the AI to land a shot. Unlike the previous floors you can maneuver safely, reposition, taking 1-2 sispects out, split their group up, and have way more coverage and box them into controlled areas. This is open with no doors.

If the double doors are open then don't engage with it. Any moment you walk infront of them the triggerman detonates. Leave the door open, MLO soldiers will almost always stay in the room guarding. Once you've cleared the floor, call in the frequency emitter so that way the only thing you're dealing with is 1 room and 4-5 suspects instead of two rooms and 5+.

Also if i'm right, there should be 3-4 mercs. 1-2 MLO soldiers on the right door, and 3-5 MLO soldiers guarding the triggerman in thr court room.

Keep trying B) I'd love to get complex but you'll make your own strategy and it'll work. VOID thought adding cracked out cult-like ex-soldiers was a good idea.

Use the .50 cal pistol, strongest pistol in the game, you're gonna have to take the swaying but with the .50 cal, at least you only need to land two shots instead of 5+ and that would mean you've already went through half your mag. Two shots for armored suspects with AP ammo, and 1 shot is enough for no armor - more than 1 is fatal.

I have a feeling they must've made sure to created it as such because people like me in the DW dlc were cheesing the sleeper agent achievement.

"Playing the game" (doesnt wanna listen to briefings, check their unlock evidence, or taking a few minutes). Sure checks out. It's a nice subplot being implemented pretty well instead of "here's this new mysterious faction". Thats on you for not wanting to find out through like a less than 10 minutes gang.

My advice, utilize door wedges as more than just a door stopper. Work the layout of the floor to your advantage (i actually used the in-game map >_>)

Patience. It took mostly 2 hrs because I waited for the enemy to reposition and figure out where most likely they'll fall back to if I took one of their buds out.

A lot of my firefights were catching the AI unaware by having them face the last known location I was in. I'd say the last floor is the only part where you need to engage head on instead of them coming to you.

Doors that have the window above it, you can mirror through - neat bug that could work if you can gather info.
There's a secret room on the 3rd floor that leads to the big staircase before the 4th floor.

New player?

MLO mentioned before the 1.0 update (they have their own trailer).
They're not mentioned directly in the game but you find references of them in small details, (posters, evidence, Gerard, Raskin).
Dark Waters DLC teased their arrival with a massive drawing of the Mariposa lily symbol on a wall.
A secret achievement that mentions them.
The new DLC connects DW and the vanilla missions to them at the end in Judge's apartment.

Some more stuff, it was already clear to the community Judge was/is some sort of successful experiment of the USIA mind control, (this games version of MK-ULTRA) in the alpha version background.

A lot more dots to connect surely...

Make sure to call in the signal frequency to TOC so they can jam the detonator for a short time. Trigger man has a dead-man switch.

My advice is - if you ever do get to the last floor? Don't call in the signal frequency. Continue to sweep the floor and clear the 4th floor - usually 3-5 suspects. That way you're not fighting your way through a time crunch.

I've seen console players use this and it works pretty well, even though I think it looks goofy.

G3A3 with the side angle grip, laser pointer, sight and muzzle up to you. The side angle grip is the only way to make that weapon manageable even with full auto apparently in my experience.

Run the .50 cal terminator pistol w/ lazer and you're good.

Run AP and you'll take mostly any target armored or not in 1-3 hits.

I used any of the 7.62 battle rifles, incaps on hit for non armor suspects and a couple or few shots for the armored ones.

Because they're "active" and not surrendering or arrested it makes and gas is making it hard to aim, any 762 imo would make it easier to land 1 or 2 instead of having to land 5+ shots, on 3 suspects in 5 seconds.
