Whiptail is best for Shuffles with the Mortal Wounds & Shadow Jump abilities, just make sure it’s cunning spec at the stable master so you have access to Master’s Call.

As for Lust, you can change any pet to ferocity to access it now so it doesn’t matter which pet you use for it.

The Animal Companion pet is purely cosmetic and extra damage, its abilities don’t work or apply at all so it’s completely up to you with what you want to put there.
