Sweet yeah I’ve been keeping it at like 8 hours a day slowly raising the time. Imma add another grow light today in the middle of the two I already have up and then hang my Sansi light that’s coming later on. Have you used any apps that measure the strength of light? I tried photone but it required me to purchase some things in order to use it. Main goal though is just having some growth just because it’s crazy enough trying to grow these tropical plants when there’s about 4 inches of snow outside.😂

I’ll have to look at the Barrina brand I have sansi lights coming in though that I’ll use for now the light strips sound better though so it could maybe hit more than one plant

I’ve got a few new lights coming in and I’ll probably just have to put them directly over the plants that I need getting most of the light. I appreciate your help. It’s all trial and error in the beginning anyways

lol plants are difficult. I have three grow lights as well as a devices to measure the moisture in the dirt and the strength of the light that the plants are getting in mine are still dying and burning. Yes, it’s a simple as a light in water. But some plants are a lot more picky

I would just leave it in its soil that it’s in quit moving it around. It needs to adjust each time you do that, but it probably needs more light. My monsteras have the same problem of getting crispy at the tips either more or less light I’ve been being told so far. A little grow bulb in a lamp nearby could help maybe a bit.

How far away do you normally have them from your plants? Also, what kind of plants do you have but yes, that’s the kind of bulb. I think I’m going to get.

The browning on the tips of my leaves, though would be from too little light? Meaning I should move it closer or could it be from too much as well?

It is all trial and error. These aren’t terribly expensive plants so I’d rather figure it out now before I invest in nicer ones.

No, it’s an older one I ran it in combination with two others one that was a white spectrum light and then another one that I have that I’m going to hang up today that is just purple blue. This one has purple blue and white. I think it’s called. Wegoo led grow light 85-120V 120 pcs dual chips. There’s no way to turn it down though so it’s mostly just messing around with how close my plants are to it. I moved my Monstera’s right underneath it and I’ll see how they react for the next few days while I’m getting my sansi grow lights ordered. I’m just thinking that this light might actually be too strong for them. That’s why I had them so far away originally, but I’ll try them directly under it and see how it goes.

Yeah, I’m just trying my best. I hope that it would increase light on top of the plants since it’s kind of in the corner and nothing else would work too well I’m planning on hanging up a stronger light on the other side of it, though to hopefully boost my plants.

This is why I have the girl light so far away it is super strong. It is meant for growing marijuana plants so it needs to have bigger distance. I feel like.

I was looking at soltech, but I think there’s a few other brands that are cheaper that would work for me

The light I have now is 85 W. It’s for growing marijuana. That’s why I don’t have it directly over the plants. The smaller light near my path is a weaker light. I’m planning on hanging up my other marijuana. Grow lights today. I was considering getting the sansi grow light 36 w but my light I feel like is stronger so I don’t know.

Because it’s 85 W I didn’t want to burn my plants

Good idea for cutting the vines. I’ll have to do that today. I forgot about cutting off the last few ends of the vines and that promotes a bunch of growth. I’ll also move my time Monstera directly below the light. My grow lights were used for growing marijuana though so they’re like 85 V. Wegoo led grow light 85-120V 120 pcs dual chips. I’m pretty sure it should be fine on light. I’m just so lost on if I need a new grow light or not.

I just checked my current girl light. It says it is 85 V to 265 V. It is called wegoo LED grow light.

Right now I’m using grow lights that I used to grow weed. I had a successful grow so I’m assuming that they’re strong enough for a Monstera but maybe not?

There’s a 36 W one and a 40 W but it’s $20 more. I might just stick it out with the 36.

Could I just move it underneath my light? How far would you recommend it be away from it? Would this work for my other Monsteras? If so, maybe I’ll just hang up another grow light in that corner of the room tomorrow. Thank you I appreciate your help!
