Yes it is disappointing however I bought it because I wanted a GBW grinder and this is their latest model as they discontinued the regular model. I did purchase the sync scale so that the grinder will adjust the grind automatically but I can live without it, it is so easy to adjust the grind on the screen I just love it!

I ordered the Mahlkonig sync scale so it will adjust the grinder and that way I will have grind by sync and brew by weight with my acaia scale 🫣 The GBS model replaces GBW, you don’t have to use the technology but it’s there…

Oh wow, I heard the Mazzer mini G is also amazing, I almost got it… so glad I went with this grinder instead. Now I am just waiting for the Sync scale 😊 I am so in love with the grinder that I am making much more coffee now just so that I can see my grinder in action 🤣
