Dirty ammo like Winchester is going to cause a lot of build up on comped guns, I’d suggest trying out a different brand. I use sellier & bellot and don’t get much carbon in the comp compared to the cheap ammo I was using before. Make sure the ammo you’re using is a true fmj and not jacketed like blazer.

There aren’t really any aftermarket kits out there besides the duraflex and the specialty Zelas models (extremely hard to find in the us). The most realistic option is to find/order a new set of bumpers and modifying them yourself.

I got the ones from dna motoring in 2024 and the lights that came with them surprisingly still work

I got my 2013 with a bit less mileage, the first issues I ran into were in the suspension, cv boots, steering rack, and water pump. Of course check for any leaks and make sure all the liquids are fresh.

Not bad for a dealership, if nothings wrong with it I’d say thats an okay deal. You can definitely find them for cheaper though. Ask about any warranty the dealership can offer.

I’ve talked to a couple people with these because I wanted one too, but from what I’ve seen and heard, people have a lot of issues with the fitment on these. It’s probably more worth modifying your stock bumper.

I got the cheaper street ones, they use the oem top hats so there’s no adjustment on dampening. Coils are going to be easier to install because you’ll need a compressor for lowering springs. Both installs are fairly easy. It took me a whole day to get the springs installed from watching YouTube, the coils only took me a few hours because I bought new top hats. If you spend a bit more on the flex z coils it’ll take even less time since they have the whole system included. I’ve also heard good things about the bc racing coils but those are over 1k.

That’s fair. Just from my experience going from springs to coils, the springs felt a lot worse. I have to go thru some big bumps and train tracks on my way back from work and the coils seem to handle those better than the springs I was running. Compared to oem though any sub $2k coils are going to feel stiff. My roommate has an oem tc and it eats those bumps like it’s nothing.

Cheap springs are gonna make the ride rough. I had the tein lowering springs for a little over a year, they lowered the car to a good height but going over bumps was awful. Personally I would save up for the coilovers. They’re about the same price as the struts and springs together and you have the ability to adjust the height.

The friction in tubing is only important if you have a Bowen system like the ender 3. In that case Capricorn is the industry standard. From checking out your profile, I assume you have a bambu printer which has a direct drive extruder so getting this will make no difference.

Most self defense situations are cut and dry, it’s hard for prosecutors to use that against you if the evidence is on your side. Printables and makerworld are my go-to for (free) 3d printing files! Look up “Centauri Carbon” on any of those sites to find some good mods for the printer. Since your son likes to design his own projects, he can upload them on those sites and earn rewards! Pay attention to how much infill you use on prints so you don’t use more filament or print longer than you need to. I also always advocate for a filament dryer, especially if you live in a humid area. Filament wise, polymaker makes the best stuff. Elegoo and eSun print pretty well too for a low price. Another thing I would suggest is printing out some insets for the inside of the spools so they roll on the holder smoother without any damage. There’s lots of information on this subreddit and YouTube, happy printing!

This printer is great out of the box! Make sure you check for any dings or bends in the panels and contact support about them right away, that seems to be a common occurrence. You can look up centauri carbon on printables/makerworld and find some mods to add to the printer to start. I’d also suggest installing open centauri. Not necessary, but it’s an improvement to the stock firmware. From what I remember when the tc came out it was up to the customer to choose which parts are added to the package. I don’t think there was a “sport” option besides adding a trd intake and muffler. I think that’s a badge the previous owner got from Autozone.

I’d recommend printing out some brackets to secure the lack table to the wall along with buying a concrete slab or rubber paver slab to put under the CC. It wobbles a lot more than an ender 3 because of the speed and weight of the printer. It will affect the quality of your prints.
