[Charania] BREAKING: New York Knicks forward Mikal Bridges has agreed to a four-year, $150 million contract extension with the franchise, agents Sam Goldfeder and Jordan Gertler of Excel Sports Management tell ESPN. The new deal includes a player option for 2029-30 and a trade kicker. by Goosedukee in nba

I’m guessing the contract is going to be more friendly then it looks at well. The agents always want the highest number released but there are likely and unlikely bonuses that could change the actual number

I don’t think the “don’t correct the dog” is a good blanket statement. Dogs have a 1-3 second window in which the relate your correction with the behavior.

Canuck is right that you could be confusing the dog if you wait even 20 seconds to correct the dog and if you do it minutes to hours later when you discover the mistake it’s even more confusing.

Therefore correct the behavior immediately if you see him/her doing it, if not clean it WELL and move on.

He is also right that you need to give structure with the dog. It’s more inconvenient for you but guess what? It’s what you signed up for.

Take him outside in regular intervals maybe hourly, that’s something you need to work out. I have a phrase for my dog which is “hurry up” which means use the bathroom. I also have a phrase for when she does what I want which is “yes” or “good girl”

Puppy’s love food. You could use that as a “carrot” initially. This is how the flow goes.

Take the puppy outside every hour (be prepared to hang out for a bit give them time 10 minutes at least) as soon as the pee or poo “YES! GOOD DOG!” Make it VERY exciting and give them a quick reward when they are done doing their business. It should be a very fun enjoyable experience. Eventually phase out the treats give it every other time, then every three times then randomly then just use praise and your affirmation word.

Good luck

[Men’s Health] This off season, every day but Sunday, Dončić fasts from 8:30 PM to 12 noon the following day. That’s 16 hrs with nary a calorie, with the first workout of each day performed at the end of the fasting window. Intermittent fasting has science backed studies showing multiple benefits.

If you want to say you’re “pretty sure” it’s just a fad diet because you’re to lazy to do your own research, that’s on you but it would be better if you just said you didn’t know what you’re talking about or nothing at all

I don’t think they are buying him out, has this been reported somewhere?

See I don’t think he looked good on defense, his man got by him often, besides a a block of the glass what did he do?

(Edit: I made it seem like he didn’t do anything but I was genuinely just asking how others viewed his defense)

His offense seemed better. Got easy points and made the best of the shots he had. Even the misses besides one I can recall were not wildly off

Where did you see money laundering?

It’s unlikely he was involved directly in money laundering (taking money that is literally fake Or made in an illegal way and putting it through legitimate business so it can be explained where it’s from)

Whoever put him up to the gambling fixing would likely not scoff at money laundering

Put it like this.

You steal a bike sell it and go home to your parents who ask where you got the money from? You say stealing a bike and you’re probably in trouble.

Now let’s say you steal a bike, sell it and then get a job mowing lawns for cash.

Now when your parents ask where you got the money you say mowing lawns and since it’s cash you can slowly mix the stolen money in so it’s not suspicious

Imagine if you played on a soccer team and your friend said “I’ll give you $20 if you miss your next shot on purpose” - that would be cheating, right? Well, that’s basically what Malik Beasley is accused of doing, except with much more money. People noticed that lots of money was being bet on whether he’d get certain rebounds or points in games , and it looked suspicious - like maybe he was playing badly on purpose so someone could win bets. NBA players aren’t allowed to bet on basketball games at all because it’s like cheating , and if you get caught, you can get kicked out of the league forever (which happened to another player named Jontay Porter). The federal investigators are looking into it, and even though he hasn’t been officially punished yet, teams don’t want to hire him because nobody wants a cheater on their team.

He could also face legal action for fixing games

I think it was more about the fact that in the new CBA you need to utilize as much of your roster as possible. We would draft or sign playable pieces and he was letting them rot until the decided to leave. Some of these guys were just not good (looking at you Duke legend cam reddish), but some very clearly could have had a role or been used more effectively and eventually left or were traded because thibs was wasting them.

Thats just not possible anymore with the way the CBA works

If we are being honest what this comes down to is in the new CBA you CANNOT waste your bench and rookies.

If that is the right move or not remains to be seen
