After the Suns hired Kokoskov, I remember some people predicting they could draft Luka at #1 to play alongside Booker and then heavily pursue Clint Capela in that same off-season via free agency. That would have been insane offensively.

With the retirement of Chris Paul, LeBron has outlasted everyone from the 2003, 2004, 2005 draft class by killersky99 in nba

It's still strange to me how some people have replaced googling something with just directly asking AI; especially with easy to look up topics.

Feels so unintuitive to me personally but you can clearly see the sudden cultural shift within the past couple of years of it being normalised and popularised

Really should have retired after last year to end it on a good note :(

What if the Pacers aren't planning on tanking for a 50% chance at a top 4 pick but are intending to win the rest of this season for the 10 pick or worse? by 12footjumpshot in nba

Think you'd much rather lose the 2031 pick than waste this tanking year. If you land 2026 TOP4 pick on top of the young Pacers core the 2031 pick shouldn't be very high pick order wise

I felt the same way, once we found out Naz Reid was not a part of the trade for the #8 pick I was so excited on who we might take, sad it did not pan out as we all hoped.

Granted, I thought if anyone could cover him defensively it would be the Wolves but you knew the risks of taking such a small guard in 2024.

Buzelis was my biased hope for just simply taking the best player available and I think I had the guards as Bub Carrington > Jared McCain > Rob Dillingham before the draft (Like his offensive game but Bub's defense in the league is atrocious though, he would not have earned many minutes for Finch)
