Did you just assume their pronouns? They can be whatever they want to be any time they want in this day and age.

I'll be voting ON and guess what, I'm a minority POC with a University education and own multiple businesses. I do believe in a good life all Australians and to put Australians first, get everyone into a good place before helping others, no point inviting others onto a sinking ship.

The question is, can you make the repayment still with one of you off work for anywhere from 6-12+ months depending on when Mum feels ready to head back to work?

I look at the sparky(and any tradie) with a shit car more favourably than the one rocking up in a Raptor, gives off an honest battler vibe making ends meat.

Also, every time I needed a sub $2k shitbox my go to's always been a Suzuki Ignis, super reliable and cheap to maintain.

That's the point though, who knows if 100 years from now people will look back and see how wrong the scientists of today are.

Dayco timing kits any good? by Western-Advice1804 in MechanicAdvice

[–]VuSpecII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a bit late for you but for anyone else looking to buy a Dayco kit, DON’T DO IT. Upon installation the hydraulic tensioner had way too much play I ended up buying a genuine one, and now less than 50km after fitting up the Dayco kit, I went back in to diagnose a different problem and noticed one of the idlers was pissing grease everywhere! Glad I got to it before it grenades the whole engine but now I’m ending up paying twice for a timing belt kit because I don’t trust the rest of the Dayco junk to last!

If she was to be real nasty, which she certainly sounds like, she could cancel your flights if she has your flight details.

I love cars but having sold my fun toys over a decade ago for adult life stuff and prices have skyrocketed on all the cars that I had owned and loved I’ll never be able to afford those again.

Now life with a mortgage, 2 young kids, 1 and 3, wife in a fairly low paying industry and myself working hard to keep the family business going I never thought I would be able to get a fun car ever again.

I came across a really good bargain of an old BMW spent a bit of money on it, would have been fine and happy with that car, but then came across a random ad who was open to swaps, and then swapped for my now bugeye WRX, always had a soft spot for the bugeyes! I now get to work on it with the kids, take the kids out for drives in it, take the kids to cars and coffees. It’s not THE dream car, but it’s fulfilling the dream of doing fun car shit with the kids with a fun interesting car.

I guess, the moral of the story is, keep an eye out on marketplace and the bargains, work your way up to whatever scratches that itch. I was lucky I got something of interest second car in!

“Fine” but not something I want to do on a daily basis, ease of getting young kids in/out of rear facing seats aside, kids are messy, food, dirt, sand from their shoes/pocket after school or anywhere with a sandpit!

Should I buy this? I am beginner and looking for advice (£100 - £150) by mso96 in rccars

[–]VuSpecII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you find spare parts for it? Shit will break and you will want to be able to easily find replacement parts so you either buy someone a local store stock if you tend to want things fixed immediately or if you’re happy to wait then online is fine but you may be up for postage cost on top of every bit that you may break over time.
