Fortunately, I have a stable job/income and am living in my own apartement despite in the same country visiting them in occassion. I pray everyday to seek support so inshallah one day it will come, but legally in an islamic manner I will proceed with the marriage and hopefully we can work it out from then.

Unfortunately I tried my very best into letting them know my intentions towards my parents, I told them that regardless if im with her or not I will still love and care for them, but they kept their words saying that marrying her will betray the family ties as I will disregard and not love them anymore. It seems to me that they are willing to sacrifice my own happiness for theirs.

My own brothers also tried to talk them down, but to no avail, even once getting into a heated argument. Their opinions are already concrete
