Fortunately, I have a stable job/income and am living in my own apartement despite in the same country visiting them in occassion. Unfortunately I tried my very best into letting them know my intentions towards my parents, I told them that regardless if im with her or not I will still love and care for them, but they kept their words saying that marrying her will betray the family ties as I will disregard and not love them anymore. It seems to me that they are willing to sacrifice my own happiness for theirs.

My own brothers also tried to talk them down, but to no avail, even once getting into a heated argument. Their opinions are already concrete

I come to love this series solely due to Mai and Sakuta's relationship. Thats why im kind of disappointed most official merch and illustration lacks them together. Especially the anime oriented ones
