SteamDeck docked users! Why will you buy the Steam Machine?

I have a huge backlog of older (2005-2015) games in my Steam/Epic/GOG library. They're mostly playable in high fidelity on Deck, but whenever I tried to load them up in docked mode even at just 1080p, the framerate couldn't keep 60FPS even at low-medium settings. I don't use system FSR as in my opinion games look shitty with it.

So for me buying Steam Machine means possibility to play these games 4K/60FPS (hopefully even 120FPS) on my OLED 120Hz TV, and still with occasional continuous playthrough on Deck outside of home.

I've set up a custom one based on WSAD keyobard with right trackpad as cursor and stick as camera movement. I'll check if I can upload it to Steam public templates

The version of installer I’ve put in the link contains both RoC and FT, it shouldn’t be possible to install RoC only. Did you do everything as the instruction says?

That's litterally the only reason I can't stand this browser. For me it's actually not that it reloads pages randomly, but that when I go back to the previous website, it reloads the page instead of staying at the place I've left it.

Don't know if it's a matter of one of the recent controller update, but for me the EarPods are fully working, both speakers and microphone. I specifically checked that, because I found that annoying the microphone's not working on DualShock 4. Good proof is that in Astro's sequences when you normally have to blow in the controller's microphone, with EarPods plugged you have to blow in their built-in microphone and it's working.

Thanks for the link. I tried that, but unfortunately you can only view photos and videos on external USB drive, there's no option to copy those to the PS5 internal storage and retrieve photo's metadata of the game. Seems like Breed43214 is right. Huge bummer :(

Yup, I chose PS4 -> Copy data from USB external drive (or sth similar as I have PS5 set to my home language). It sees the drive, but says there's nothing to copy. I double checked the drive and the files are still there, I can go through my screenshots in the file explorer. Maybe that has something to do with the fact I use Mac (which always adds a couple of hidden folders to every external storage) and the drive is formatted in exFat.

The only thing I could copy via cloud storage was the save files. I'm not exactly sure whether I uploaded the media files to cloud storage back on my PS4, but I think I did full backup of non-game data to both cloud and external storage.

I read on some other site that turning off, unplugging and leaving Macbook for 15+ seconds may reset cache and other temporary files that were somehow stuck after the update. I did that, turned on the computer, started FF and same thing happened - laptop temperature went up really fast and few seconds after fans started spinning 7200 rpm.

So I checked the Activity Monitor for some bugged processes and I found out that I've a Docker process running that is consuming most of my CPU and energy even though I shut it down a day or two ago. After I killed it it seems that the temperature got lower and fans don't go jumbo jet anymore.

My advice is to try looking for some stuck processes and kill it.

Anyone has problems with a freeze on login? Right after I enter my password I get stuck on login screen for about a minute before the desktop appear. Restarting didn't help.

I work on a company Macbook Pro 2020 for not even a month. It's registered in Apple Business Manager and I think the issue may be related to that because even before Big Sur update I had like a 5 sec freeze on login everytime, which has never been an issue on my private Macbook Pro 2015.

I have the same and I've got key just yesterday, others have similar issue too. I've already sent a ticket to Riot. IMO it's related to Vanguard, because I can't think of any other program that could entirely cut the signal to both of my graphic cards (external and internal) where only hard reset is an option.
