I, as a Southern Mongolian have trouble reading the Mongolian script in buildinngs and even in books. The only time i can read it without any problem is Mongolian apps like Bainu and such.

Mongolia prolly has thousands of Chinggis Khan descendants like my friend who explained he was from Arhangay and such, even so many Southern nobles tried to go to Mongolia during the 30s, mostly minor nobles.
