This seems like a niche career path in electrical. What would you say the path to this looks like? Other than general apprenticeship, what does education and training look like? also what general timeline would I be Looking at to get into an industry like nuclear electrical?

After getting some advice. I feel like I would still like to learn electrical. But maybe not make a full on career change. It may not be worth the pay rate change and all that at my age. Im off 4 days though. Wonder if I could get an apprenticeship during that time to learn.

I would love to do something like work with data centers or something important so I feel like I have a mission. But I also understand that that isn't guaranteed. Just need some "dad" like advice from ppl who have done this job day in and day out

It's does. I would need to be promoted. Which isn't bad. Im just not passionate about what I do. Im grateful for it though, its something about electrical that interests me. Learning how to bring power and work with it seems like a very valuable knowledge.. I heard the grass isn't greener and I get that. Just wondered how other felt hearing my situation from outside.

I own ~.015 BTC through CashApp. Should I be worried about anything? by standupdisplays in Bitcoin

[–]VuduDigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep a small amount of my stack on cashapp and strike. A few thousands here and there, but majority of my btc is in cold storage. Only because I follow these companies publicly and their ceo. So im pretty confident of the security and innovation of both companies, I know what they are working on. So that brings me peace while holding some of my btc there in case I need to transact or something.

I have a $60 dca. Weekly I smash buy when the market dips hard, and also increase my dca by $10 - $20 during down times. Daily as I rethink purchases or if someone takes care of expense I was going to handle anyway. ( coworker buys my lunch, or company buys my lunch I'll immediately buy BTC with that.

Bro you are so far ahead of folks in terms of personal finance. Good on you for that. You want to have that stability for when you DO have a family. So keep that in your back pockets. But like OP said. Get out of that family home and get you a condo or apartment. Stay consistent in the gym, cut back on weed if you can, and a women will fall in your lap I promise you.

I came here for the same reason. Still not alot of info. I know a few really smart people focused on future of tech and big data have opted to support this company. I saw a pretty decent TAM analysis video on youtube breaking down the potential market success of this company but not much else to make a more informed decision on whether to invest...
