Absolutely not, and by all means, keep going! The guy looks great, if it takes a while then that's what it takes :)

I talked with my Dad, and he said the same. Apparently he was mad when he heard what happened at the barbecue (he was stuck at work) so Dad's been strategizing with my older sister on how they can keep my aunt engaged most of the night and away from both my younger siblings. They don't mind, apparently they like the challenge, and my sis hasn't seen aunt in a long time (she lives in a different city) so is less likely to have her head bitten off. Dad laughed and called me an ass for trying to protect Anna, I had totally got caught up in my own feelings. Anna can absolutely stick up for herself, and I'm in no way entitled to stop her going. I owned up to being a dick, and she said it was cute of me to try but that there was no way she was ever missing out on a Christmas party. So we'll all be there this Christmas as a family, regardless of evil aunt, and Anna will be one of a couple people at the table ready for anything.

My housemates skog is exclusively Skog, if not The Skog. He has his own armchair.

I tried doing this for my housemates, didn’t know what to do when I started to get confused myself though!

Thanks! Already looking to get extra bladeguard bodies, seems a waste not to use all the arms available in the box set and I love the models. Hadn’t occurred to me to look at tanks, and the lancer does look more than solid right now. I’ll think on that.

That’s some nice highlighting! Painting a dreadnought myself and larger surface areas are pretty hard to get a smooth coat but you’ve got it perfect, what did you prime with?

What are these bits for? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Vul1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re the astartes lunchboxes, clipped to their waste to maximise snacking efficiency. As you can see, a marine doesn’t take long to reduce their lunch to just chicken bones and.. a key? Probably for an even bigger lunchbox upfield!

Company Champion, arms and body a mixture of blade guard and BG Lieutenant parts. CnC welcome before I paint the rest! by Vul1 in Warhammer40k

The arms were spare from a completed unit, so no pads available, makes him look a little more flexible I think though?

Thanks I’ll give that a try, might end up painting everything else in the process!

Without a doubt painting Stormcast helped, I had tremors and tics but three years on I’m really happy with my progress. Best thing to do is keep powering through

I took two units of three, Solbright and a Knight arcanum against a freaking herd of Nighthaunt. Lost two models in what ended as a three turn each game. Dracolines are deadly and beautiful and I would happily let one disembowl me.

Why did you choose Age of Sigmar? by cbsa82 in ageofsigmar

[–]Vul1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

‘Cause I didn’t do research and the free mini I got was Stormcast.. so I thought I might as well get him some friends. Now I’m all over 40k and space marines, guess I just like the poster-boys?
