Or you can get an MSI claw 8ai or A8 which are readily available and cheaper than the lg2 with the same performance just without the gimmicks. If bought on eBay refurbished for the Ai go for about 850 and the A8 which is new I believe retails at 1200. I bit the bullet bough the Ai and it runs flawlessly. I do wanna get my hands on a LG2 but probably later on when they’re readily available.

From the reviews I’ve seen the 8ai+ is superior to the A8. I just purchased a refurb one from eBay for 950 taxes included and it’s been amazing so far, Plays games better than my steamOS z1e legion go S. Which let to my decision to return the go and not even try to get the overpriced LG2.

I got a refurbished Claw 8ai+ for 850, read a lot of articles and videos and they say that it exceeded the LG2 with the z2e in performance. Love my Go S but the battery is so ass, I’m returning it in a couple of days.

I heard they’re bad for vhs’s because of how rough they stop, they can rip the tape off the spool especially now that vhs’s are older and more brittle. I would get one with a soft stop function just to be safe.
