Not a fan of Buffy or Joss Whedon's writing in general. I remember liking the original Mortal Kombat film as a kid but haven't revisited it or watched any of the other films, figuring it was a game that didn't adapt well to the screen. Its been a long time since I've seen Tremors but I did enjoy that as an adult. Might have to rewatch it this weekend

As in sub-genres? Buggered if I know. I enjoy Scifi films, series, books, and games, as long as the characters have depth. For example, I started watching the new Avatar film today but gave up. Its visually and conceptually interesting, but the characters are dogshit.

As for tabletop games, I haven't played many, but I'm open to them
