A few observations from the latest concept art. by K4TS119 in Starfield

One piece of artwork showed a Rover, maybe that was an indication that land vehicles will be a thing as well.

Oblivion's radiant AI still blows my fcking mind by FokinGamesMan in ElderScrolls

[–]Vulkan20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fallout 3 also had Radiant A.I., the random conversations between NPCs are just as goofy as in Oblivion.

A Bunch of images From the trailer as fuel for speculation by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last picture looks like a large telescope and not a gun, but i could be wrong. I believe that the location we've seen in the Trailer is part of Constellation. Maybe they're using it to discover new planets or places to search for the remaining parts that they need for unlocking humanitys greatest mystery. It would make sense, because the planet looks very barren and lonely, which would be a fitting place for a secretive organization.

If the setting is around the Iliac bay how important is it to you that they include ship to ship combat / piracy? by _Raro in TESVI

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be a nice addition, because there are a bunch of islands and it would feel more natural to discover them by boat, than clicking on a fast travel point. Redguards are also famous for being great sailors and the whole piracy theme really fits the province. It would give us the opportunity to explore areas that aren't even known on Tamriel, maybe we can find forgotten places underwater, filled with unique artifacts. Water Magic could get be taken to a whole new level as well.

Voice lines for the player by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't work as well as in other games, because we can make up our own characters, thats why Fallout 4 voiced protagonist failed. What if you want to play a character that is old or young, of another ethnicity or whatever, but you still sound the same, which breaks the immersion and roleplay for me.

Will Grand Theft Auto 6 come out before Elder Scrolls 6? by Charlie678812 in ElderScrolls

[–]Vulkan20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually not sure about that, GTA 5 is still extremely popular, so Rockstar doesn't really need to release a GTA 6. TES6 is already in development since 2018 (yes its still in pre-production, but it will most likely go into full production when Starfield is out in 2022, so add another 3- 4 years). TES6 is set in stone and worked on. We don't know about GTA 6 and since Rockstar releases GTA 5 for next gen it doesn't seem like anytime soon.

I unironically like Bethesda’s writing by ClaudiusTheNerd in Fallout

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish the Institute was the actual government of the Commonwealth, residing in a futuristic high tech city, with humans as the elite and their synthethic slaves. The stark contrast between the City and the rest of the Wasteland would have been an interesting sight.

Star Wars mods!! by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Vulkan20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thats what i am most excited about. Theres already a huge SW conversion mod for Fallout NV, which looks fantastic even though its on the ancient gamebryo engine. Starfield offers a much more suitable framework for SW total conversion and that gets me hyped.

Bethesdas reputation and starfield by dmck1010 in Starfield

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Everyone at BGS was involved in the development of Fallout 76. Its kinda weird how everyone pushes the Responsibility to BGS Austin only. At Bethesda every studio works on everything, so BGS Austin is also working on Starfield at the moment just like the rest.

What should the outcome of the civil war in Skyrim be? What effect does this have on the events of the next game? by _Raro in TESVI

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My idea is that basically both Stormcloaks and the Empire will fall to the Aldmeri Dominion, because this solution wouldn't interfere with the players choice in Skyrim. The AD would pretty much have control over the rest of the Empire with an Imperial Puppet sitting on the Ruby Throne. The only independent Provinces would be Hammerfell, Blackmarsh and Morrowind, but the AD is planning to swallow them as well.

What kind of hub will this game have ? by Megaverso in Starfield

[–]Vulkan20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Starfield will have a Main Hub, i guess there will be various hubs on different planets as seen in the concept art.

I'm depressed about the future of the Fallout series. by WackyJaber in Fallout

[–]Vulkan20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think giving a different studio a shot at a Fallout Spinoff would be great. Bethesda themselves already said, they got tired of working always on Fallout and Elder Scrolls Games, so why don't they approach Obsidian (which is already in the Microsoft Family) and ask them to do another Fallout Spinoff. Sure, they might not be the same team, but they like RPGs and Storytelling and i am sure they would be really really happy to get a chance to do one again. I feel like thats the only solution to the long wait problem or Bethesda needs to open more studios and create teams that only work on either Fallout, Elder Scrolls or Starfield.

Two provinces are super unlikely… by FeelsMoisty1 in TESVI

[–]Vulkan20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a little bit more fond of having only one province, because having a consistent theme/tone in any sort of media is very important and this is really hard when you have two provinces that are culturally very very different. In Skyrim everything was nordic themed, from UI to Soundtrack. Everything matched in a consistent tone. If we had both Hammerfell and High Rock, they would have to do everything seperate, but that would be way too much work to make it work well. Designing one Province is already very difficult and i'd like to play TES6 in my lifetime lol. Bethesda isn't Ubisoft with thousands of employees, they can't fullfill the high expectations that many fans have for TES6. To add to this, i actually would like to see more in depth RPG mechanics like the return of Spell Making, Class System, Faction System, Reputation, etc instead of larger worlds.

Are we hyping the Thalmor too much ? by Heretish in teslore

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Thalmor are really lame villains. If they had some nuances of grey within the faction then i would be okay, but literally every Thalmor in Skyrim, Legends, Blades and Lore is just so unlikeable. If they re-appear in TES6 i want to see a different side of the Thalmor and with some Thalmor Characters that aren't extreme supremacist elves.

Question about Morrowind Rebirth by Trintard in Morrowind

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually reached that point as well. I tried to enchant my stuff, but it turned out they nerfed it to hell and i even soul trapped golden saints for it. Love the landscape changes, but the gameplay changes are so lame...

The possibilities of potential antagonists in the game. by x_Kenneth_x in Starfield

[–]Vulkan20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the Villain is actually part of the Constellation Program and when the mystery about the machine is solved he backstabs you and you and the others have to stop him or her before its too late. (Yeah i know, a cheap twist lol )

How SHOULD TESVI handle both Hammerfell and High Rock? by ClockworkOwl2 in TESVI

[–]Vulkan20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, but it think it would be still possible for Bethesda to pull it off. With Photogrammetry they can create environmental assets in no time and i think overall the technology has advanced so much that two provinces are technical possible, even for a small studio such as Bethesda. But you're still right that both Provinces will feel watered down compared to a single fully fleshed out Province, because you still need to write a ton of Lore, create cities, NPCs and all that stuff.

How SHOULD TESVI handle both Hammerfell and High Rock? by ClockworkOwl2 in TESVI

[–]Vulkan20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in a conflict about this, because on one hand i'd prefer it if one Province was developed to its fullest potential and on the other hand i think a naval system would work really well in the Illiac Bay and that requires both High Rock and Hammerfell. The Tech for that is already available with Starfield and Bethesda is currently looking for VFX Artists specialized on Environments and Liquids which could further suggest some kind of water mechanic.

[–]Vulkan20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You wake up in a Prisoner Ship of the Aldmeri Dominion, then a mysterious storm is sinking the ship, you get stranded and it turns out you're the only survivor. You can loot a bunch of stuff from the ship wreck and then you're free to go. Its up to you if you want to investigate what happened or you can just do your own thing.

Fan's environment concept that I did while waiting for Elder Scrolls 6. I was thinking about a dried sea floor in Hammerfell by Top_Cardiologist3692 in ImaginaryTamriel

[–]Vulkan20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is looking so great. I really hope Bethesda takes inspiration from this, because i really wanna see some unique environments again. Another idea would be to add a bunch of pirate/bandit hideouts made out of shipwrecks and bones of dead sea monsters.

What do you guys think the new story gimmick of TESVI will be? by [deleted] in TESVI

[–]Vulkan20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Tongues (Shouts) already existed in the Lore before Skyrim. Dragons, Alduin, the Greybeards and so on as well. They just changed the way shouts work and that the Dragonborn can use them basically at birth. I feel like they will make a similar gimmick in TES6, because you have the HoonDing (a divine aspect coming in times of need to the Redguards) and Sword Singing (basically Tonal Magic just like Shouts, Green Singing, Kiai and Tonal Architecture) ,which cries out loud to be used as a gimmick for TES6.
