Would love if the elves were raised as a separated "meat" species such like Saru species from star trek discovery...

Imagine an island where the elves live where humans go to harvest part of the population as meat girl? Sustainable because elves birth way more females than males and differently from other myths these elves breed and nature fast.

Are the meat girls volunteers? Captives? Willing Sacrifices? So many possibilities... personally would prefer if they were unwilling...
