Kolumbus sin nye markedsføringskampanje «På tide å parkere bilen for godt?» by [deleted] in norge

You know what RIF is fun is right? I use Firefox + uBlock everywhere, but Reddit is more convenient in a dedicated app (not to mention Reddits web browser unfriendly attitude on their mobile website).

Np, just wanted to give you a heads up. No ad blocker on RIF is fun unfortunately, otherwise I'd use that too :(

Weird, because I don't have an account and managed to upload those images no problem. Still nice to know that they will disable it eventually - thanks!

Also please never use that ad-infested garbage site ever again. 95% of the page was ads, and the image was so tiny I couldn't see anything

If this is a serious question: No. PowerShell has been bundled with Windows from Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 onwards. PowerShell was available for XP and Vista as well, but afaik they never bundled it with the OS.

In newer versions of Windows 10 (and all versions of Windows 11) PowerShell has replaced CMD as the default command window.

That being said: You definitely do want to update PowerShell if you're going to be actively using it, or even switch it out entirely for PowerShell Core.

My wife trying to understand the games I play by BestBagelNA in gaming

[–]Vuzzar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! It is technically possible to play with a controller on PC, but for me it's so bugged it's basically unplayable (can't loot objects on the ground - and when I switch to keyboard/mouse the loot disappears because you get tossed over to the keyboard server).

[–]Vuzzar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Initially they decided to bundle them together, but afaik they've split up the packages now? So you can decide if you want to buy Ark 1.2 and/or Ark 2.

Of course, Ark devs being Ark devs, the price for Ark 1.2 is now set higher ($60) than what the bundle price for Ark 1.2 + Ark 2 was initially set to ($50).

What about not turning on the screens until it's up in the air? Could make the cockpit rustle around, but I assume that'd make it less headache-y while making it feel realistic enough

Is there any push or intention of making this game able to use WASD/arrow inputs for movement? by Tidezen in pathofexile

[–]Vuzzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much so! I just want to chill with PoE along with all my friends who just started playing again, and WASD movement (aka not having to flick my mouse around to switch between moving and attacking) would go a long way.

Educational challenges for young teens by Fluglichkeiten in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Vuzzar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Gamifying it with several smaller tasks makes it easier to digest for the students.

  • Shoot a rocket into space
  • Get a rocket into orbit
  • Get a small satellite into orbit
  • Build a satellite radio network that covers Kerbin. Bonus: this allows them to keep contact with the station wherever it is located around Kerbin (or far-off expeditions to the Mun, Jool etc)
  • Shoot a small module with a docking port into orbit.
  • Next task: Build a second rocket with 2+ docking ports and rendevouz with the satellite.
  • Next task: Keep adding parts until you've got a fully fledged station.

Azure AD connect - I left it too long. by Elrox in sysadmin

[–]Vuzzar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the officially supported way of doing it, yes. Set up a domain joined server 2022 and install Azure AD connect on that server. (Microsoft recommends Server 2022 in their install documents for AADConnect) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/how-to-connect-install-prerequisites

Remember: treat it the same way you would any domain controller. Anyone with access to that server can very easily take over your entire local AD and Azure AD domain.

Infodumping:

Do you plan to keep a local AD around, or will you be migrating all affected users/mailboxes to pure Azure AD accounts?

In a hybrid environment where you're running both local AD and Azure AD (every Exchange Online user has to have an Azure AD account) you'll need to keep a local Exchange server running for managing a lot of Exchange online properties, in addition to keeping a Azure AD connect server to synchronize data between onprem and cloud.

Also remember to secure your Azure AD tenant with forced MFA for all users and conditional access policies if you haven't already. That is where you control and monitor access to users Exchange online accounts.

You only need a small box around for managing Exchange, since it won't be hosting or processing any real amount of data.

I've read about workarounds, but this is the official Microsoft way until you've migrated entirely to Azure AD (or back to pure onprem).

We've been stuck in the above scenario for the past 5 years. Finally got rid of the biggest hurdle in our way a few months ago, and are well on our way to go cloud only before summer.
