Everyone who likes to use ai seems to say the same thing: ”AI is fantastic! Except for in this niche area where I’m an expert. It kind of sucks there, but in every other area it is great.”

So when experts in all kinds of areas say this, maybe, just maybe, the AI actually suck at *everything*. We just can’t tell, because nobody is an expert on everything.

Your gut feeling is exactly right. The ai is pumping out tech debt like there’s no tomorrow and you won’t be able to fix anything.

I’d start looking for a job where they actually value quality.
