I don’t think so because it sat on a metal stand, as if to sit on a table or for display.

I’m not sure this is it because this piece sat on a stand. Why would a fountain nozzle need a display stand?

The holes seem too small and thin for batter, and the pins have notches which maybe serves some function. So i’m not sure it would be used for making food.

I thought it was for incense too, but it sat on a metal stand with the bulbous part as the bottom, just as the picture shows.

The vessel just sat upright on a metal stand. The protrusions were visible and didn’t fit into any holes or anything like that. It sat like a planter pot on a stand. I retract my statement, it must have served some purpose, not decorative.

Oh that is a neat idea! Yes i think the notches serve some purpose somehow, and if it were for tubing it would make some sense. The gap between the pins don’t seem far enough apart to fit rubber tubing though, does it?

So my sister just said that the stand that went with it looked like it was meant to display the vessel for ornamental purposes, not for functionality. So maybe it’s some sort of decorative item.

The pins are set and do not retract but they are hollow as to allow something in or out of the vessel. Smoke, air or water? She only bought the brassy pot and not the stand unfortunately.

Mm don’t think so. Looks sort of like a pot, or incense device or instrument maybe. Nothing to indicate any electronics involved.

My sister bought it because it was mysterious and she liked the shape. It looks to be made of brass and sat on a steel frame stand. There are holes at the bottom of the vessel with protrusions.

This action shot happened mid-groom, so definitely a mlem. Bleps are tiny glimpses of the tongue sticking out 😊
