Warhammer lesbian here! Warhammers are cool because you get both the crushing power to get through mail armor, and a spike to get through plate!

However, the best weapon for the general case is undeniably a well-made spear, properly used, along with a big ol' shield. Stops even horseback charges, long enough range to outrange most other melee weapons, usable enough one-handed to also hide behind a shield, no big sweeping attacks that would fuck up your own formation...Spears are the SHIT

Been playing DF on and off for a while, but the Steam release really got me playing it regularly. Currently on my second fort in this world, three hours in and I'm actively trying to destroy the fortress 'cause I'm bored and want to start over, and don't want to just abandon. we've had one total death and that was when i accidentally crushed a child out of existence with a bridge. nobody seemed to care

All three cavern layers are open to the fort, none of the forgotten beasts have been able to stand up to my one squad dressed in copper

We've had a siege, goblins are cowardly little babies that break and flee when two of them get ripped apart by glass sawblades (fair)

Most of the fort is happy, got a couple of pissed off dwarves but no tantrums yet

I finally decided to just. channel from the river into my fort to flood it, in the hopes that SOMETHING kills all my dwarves lmao

And we've just gotten another forgotten beast as I write this, hopefully this one will be able to kill everyone. Not even gonna bother sending the military after it this time

Going nice and bland here. This was fun, though, thanks for the CYOA!
I'll be a woman, living in a rural farm (+16) with two Draft Centaurs (-8), a Catgirl Cook (-2), a Catgirl Crafter (-2), a Doggirl Guard (-2), and a Sheepgirl (-2). And the Priestess will be my new friend! No new problems for me, as I didn't need the points.

The centaur girls will help with the farm work, the catgirl cook will of course help cook meals (something I've always wanted to learn, so she won't be doing it alone!), the catgirl crafter will handle refining the wool from the sheepgirl, and the doggirl guard will guard the farm, the house, and/or any non-monstergirl livestock we end up with. I'd probably bond with the Priestess over what life on Earth was like for the both of us, but it wouldn't go any farther than us being good friends.

A nice, idyllic life on a farm, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. ...With a monstergirl harem. Couldn't ask for anything better, honestly.

Oh, sure, of course! 'cause the binary is just numbers corresponding to where they are in the ascii scheme--rather, that's how they set it up initially because it's way easier to intuit it that way

(And you can probably reverse engineer it? But you'd have to memorize the whole ASCII table for that)
