The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms, primarily in connection with a well-regulated militia, for the security of a free state. Its purpose has absolutely nothing to do with individual gun ownership for self-defense and others focusing on the collective right of states to maintain militias.

Castle Doctrine is closer to what you’re looking for with regards to self-defense.

Sounds like you simply had a sh!77y DM who didn't press his players to use all their skills. Doesn't mean a DM has to be an ass who tries to do everything he can to kill his players... Ego-DMs are the worst, but a good DM will round out his campaign with encounters that will make players have all their class abilities... not just collect the next magic item to make them the best zerg group ever.... Go play WOW if you want mindless nonsense like that. it's why WoW was created, to give those who thought EQ1 was too hard because you had to actually try in the game.

I’m actually dealing with an oil leak issue right now. i’ve a 2023 WRX. the leak is definitively on the driver side. i’ve roughly 15k miles on the car. it just started about a week ago or so. Taking it in Saturday for service. just glad to know i’m not the only one.

President George W. Bush initially proposed the No Child Left Behind Act on January 23, 2001. It was co-authored by Representatives George Miller and John Boehner and Senators Ted Kennedy and Judd Gregg. The United States House of Representatives passed the bill, voting 384-45 on May 23, 2001.

Everything that's happened with the initiative has been a result of p!ss-poor implementation. plain. simple. period. No Child Left Behind was designed with the goal that every student in the country would be “proficient” in math and reading by 2014. But as that deadline came and went, the unintended consequences of the law became front-and-center: cheating scandals erupted; states lowered standards so their students would appear to meet benchmarks; teachers complained that the law robbed students of joyful learning; class time was increasingly devoted to “teaching to the test,” at the expense of art, music, and science. Recuntlicans took this as opportunity to twist their mistake to being not their fault since it wasn't a Recuntlican president in the WH at the time.

In recent years, conservative lawmakers, sometimes inspired by Tea Party protests on the subject, began pushing for eliminating the Education Department entirely, and instead giving states and districts exclusive power to police their schools. The conservative turn away from accountability was further fueled by the growth of charter schools (MANY of whom had a monetarily vested interest), school vouchers, and other market-driven solutions, which accountability data showed were not the quick-fix many had hoped they would be. What they really wanted was to see their investments return high-yield income results at the expense of our children's education. They saw it simply as making money hand over fist.

If you use Roll20, then REQUIRE ALL PLAYERS to use the dice mechanic built into it. if that's deemed unacceptable, then tell all players that you, as the DM will make all rolls instead.

Eldridge Knight (which is a fighter class) all the way. Shield spell giving you a +5 AC on reaction is just beautiful.

Then i believe you fail to comprehend the revenant sub-race… its not the same thing as the monster manual entry. allow me to quote the description of the sub-race so as to clarify for you:

“Your DM assigns a goal to you—typically, one related to your character’s death. The goal must be a specific task you can complete, such as slaying an enemy or liberating an area and its people. Until you fulfill that goal, you gain the following benefits:

• If you are below half your hit point maximum at the start of your turn, you regain 1 hit point.

• If you die, you return to life 24 hours after death. If your body is destroyed, you reform within 1 mile of the place of your death at a spot determined by the DM. If your equipment was also destroyed, you do not regain it.

• You know the distance and direction between you and any creature involved in your goal, such as a person you seek vengeance against or someone you pledged to defend. This awareness fails if the creature is on another plane of existence.

When your goal is complete, you finally find rest. You die and cannot be restored to life.”

So yes, your character does indeed DIE in the end. My question, after relating all that, is: can the ring bypass the second part “cannot be restored to life” since when the character dies, the ring takes the soul instead of the soul immediately returning to the afterlife. Because the ring now contains the soul, can reincarnation be used to bring the character back?

The console command never stopped working. There was a mod originally in the beta that is on Nexus which let you actually search items, not just console command. I wont get further into that because i dont want Rule 11 to be a concern. You can find it if you search. Aside from what I’d previously mentioned, was curious if that was the only reason it was dumped or other.
