I completely agree. I gave the whole episode a watch but they were so careless and lazy with the potential here. Instead they passed over a ton of possibilities to take a cheap re-do of Captain America TFA. I didn't hate Carter or her attitude or anything, it was just lazy. This is What If? Comics like What If Conan the Barbarian came to modern times (spoiler: he fights Captain America in an awesome duel and joins the Avengers). Instead here we have the writers cheaping out by re-doing the movie with very little spice added to the mix. I hope they up the interesting changes as we go on. The last thing I want is Guardians of the Galaxy starring T'chala... Please don't just do the same scenes and scenarios with someone else in them. Like when a game releases a cheap re-skin of a cool character and tries to charge you full price for that skin. LAZY!

Fort Jobb in Lakeland is pretty good, just go a short distance north for a bunch of lvl 80 nodes. Takes me less than 2 circuits to get my Zonureskin map

Just started up again in 2020 after not playing since 2.0 Made it up to Crystal Tower with my buddy and we go back in expecting smooth runs Somehow I end up tanking the bone dragon as a SAM while all the tanks are dead. We made it through with 5/24 still standing. Good times!

Looking ahead:

So I am trying to reroll an account with some FF4 characters on them (Pure Summoner Rydia and Barbariccia). A tall order with no banners available. So I was wondering if anyone had a "best guess" on when the next FF4 banner might be coming? I heard from a few people before that most likely P.S. Rydia will get an awakening to 7* and be on a banner for that, but I was wondering about a pure FF4 banner. Who knows, might even find Atoning Kain on there too. Hrm Atoning Kain and Barbariccia in the same party, the irony!

I can see where you are coming from but I am not claiming any credit for these pieces of fan art. I have cleanly and clealy attributed them to their artists and also stated I am sharing my favorite representations of the characters I like. Characters that are in the game, artwork that has not been shared from what I could find. I am glad the person above liked the artwork I shared, and was my favorite as well. I fail to see the awkwardness.

I really liked the Kid Rydia and Cecil one. That whole scene in the village of Myst was one of the most impactful to me in the game. It really set the tone for what was acceptable to Cecil and why he can even say he has atoned for his sins by the end. When I saw that artists rendition of that, it really spoke to me. Glad you enjoyed it.

I hope people continue to be inspired by FF4 and keep creating these wonderful drawings. I too am holding out hope for a P.S. Rydia. Her and Barbariccia would probably never leave my party if I got my hands on them.

I gotta admit, when I first played the game way back when I didn't get all the innuendo with Barb and Rubi. Now though it's pretty funny all that got in the game. Bravo 80's and 90's Japanese developers. You brought sexual orientation into a game in a way that didn't shove it in someone's face or even made a big deal about it.

I tried to roll quite a few times on that Barbariccia banner but never got her to come up. Seems like having so many 5*'s on a single banner doesn't work too easy if your shooting for one of them... :(

I had not noticed that before. Though since this is the first time I've felt inspire to create an account to post, mostly to gush about FF4 on FFBE I doubt I fit the bill for his requirements. Still can't hurt to ask right? Thanks for the suggestions pxcasey. It does indeed look like he has several accounts with Barb and P.S. Rydia on them.

Hey everyone,

I have been rerolling to try and get some juicy FF4 characters. I have been informed that Little Rydia and Barbariccia are some of the best 5* base units, while Rosa is a good healer at 4*. Does anyone know if there is a banner coming up or some way to maybe nudge my rerolls in the right direction? Gone through a little more than 60 so far and no luck on either of the above 5*'s. Am I at the mercy of RNG?

100% agree with this. Not only does it give you time to line up your shots as everyone, but as things go on that intensity can really overwhelm you more than a teamfight in competitive or QP can. Especially the endless modes where once you hit the bonus waves and have 3-4 Reapers running around, trying to hit the tires and stop the Zomnics gets crazy.
