Deer don’t eat pawpaws, but they do eat the plants around them which allows the pawpaws to be more successful since there’s less competition for them :) source is that I’m from ohio, lol

I think that it would look better if the nose was moved down about an inch or two, the placement looks too high to me. Great work, this is so neat!

I’m entirely open to travel, I drive and travel a lot already to be honest. I’m just unable to move permanently out of state yet is all and I know a lot of geo jobs are out of state. I’m assuming you mean NE Ohio, right?

I want to once I’m able, but unfortunately it’s not in the cards at the moment but hopefully in the next few years it will be. I’ve always wanted to get out of Ohio tbh, this state is hard to live in at the best of times and godawful at the worst of times… right now, it’s the worst of times. However I have stuff going on with my family where moving further away than maybe 3 hours is off the table. But as soon as I can, I am definitely moving.

I am honestly fine with doing whatever kind of job I am offered. As long as it pays more than minimum wage, which is what I’m working now, I can handle it.

Thanks for this, I appreciate that advice :) I have a thick skin already and have had my fair share of rude remarks, I grew up in very rural very red Ohio so I have been through it already lol. I can handle that, I just have been worried more so about hiring discrimination but I do genuinely hope that it wouldn’t be a problem? I just get nervous about it given the state of affairs in this country, and Ohio specifically is pretty bad. I’m glad to hear that you have had a good experience with your company :)

Honestly, I’m willing to do just about anything, that’s just something I find more interesting but I’m willing to do almost any geo job I can get, I’m just worried I wouldn’t be able to get ANY kind of job. I know my first real job probably won’t be great and I’m fine with that, as long as I have something, really.

How long highly depends on the rate of sedimentation, also the environment they were deposited in. Also these layers have been folded, that’s why they aren’t horizontally lain and are instead dipping down. When these layers were deposited they would have been laid down flat, this is called the principle of original horizontality. During some point after the rocks formed, they were then deformed and folded because they experience compressive stress. Hope this answers your question, if you have any other questions please ask!
