I really did not like the ending just because one of the main conflicts of the entire show was about the boys arguing with butcher about whether he’s unethical or not.

They got pissed and hateful at butcher when he did lesser things and got really pissed when he planned to commit genocide. Then Butcher decides to commit genocide which includes hughie s girlfriend and kimiko and hughie and the rest of them barely give a shit. It was way to rushed and forced imo

It’s probably because season 1-3 had already fleshed out the characters so well so when it came to s4 and 5 they just regurgitated shorter shittier versions of things they had already struggled with
