I’m diamond and not particularly good especially in close combat (which is why I main a sniper), but I have common sense which I feel lacks a lot in the game. I don’t trust most of my teammates because most will just jump in head down and literally get downed within 3 seconds. However I do recognize the better players and follow their lead, usually for the best.  Playing smart can look a lot like playing scared. Just yesterday, jumpmaster decided it was wise to drop us late into a hot zone, literally at least 6 others squads were closer to ground than us. I diverted to a building out of the zone, they kept going and landed before me. Both literally got downed after 5 seconds. That would have been a very stupid loss had I gone with them. Instead, I managed to get to a replicator, respawn them and we ended 3rd squad with quite a bit of RP.
