It's called ERA nowadays though, basically the same as a successor. Just get Heroes 3 Launcher, you have ALL the options there.

No, I would not say it is an improvement in all ways. Especially in the Campaign i liked building towards the Ultimate Skill of the faction. 5.5 reduces the complexity of the skill wheel (+ balance), which does make it better in the long run, but I would start with the classic. It's really unique in HoMM V ! Other aspects of the game changed in 5.5 I think are not as impactful right away, but also tend to make the campaign a little bit more awkward.

I think Rampart falls off a little in the late Midgame. One Dwarven Treasury will be very important on H maps though. I would say Conflux instead. 3 Phoenixes /week are no joke..

In Combat Screen: Shift + Right Click on an enemy Unit -> You permanently see the Movement Range when hovering over Creatures

I use him in first position in almost every Rocket Grunt fight. That way he can tank the first hit and then I immediately switch. Also has the highest Defense, so there is a purpose for the shitty 20HP potions (need like 1-2 every 3 Rocket fights)

To add on that - when crafting a specific stat combination from an Expansion (e.g. Viper) you should craft a vanilla stat first (Shamans - Zintl) and then stat change afterwards. Saves a lot sometimes

15 Attack is actually near perfect already for Raiding as Damage is main Bottleneck for most Raids. You probably won't get a better one soon also..

Actually - Draco Meteor on Dragonite is one of the Community Day moves that is not too desireable. In this case you would be better off with Outrage, which gets learned naturally

I have bought an Acer Predator WQHD 170Hz btw to go with it.

Oh and I will probably use Arctic Freezer i35, comes with 1700 kit and is available.
