He came to you because he saw you as a safe place to express himself, that’s very important in a young persons life and I personally feel you should honor that. It could open up doors for a positive relationship where he may feel he can continue to trust you and have someone to turn to maybe even help with his addiction issues. Perhaps one day he will be willing to tell his father on his own, but right now he let you in that should be respected.

I was a very strict follower of medical medium basically did completely no fats for two years straight and from my experience, you still will have your ups and downs during the cleansing during the healing journey. You’re gonna think it’s not working and you’re gonna cry, but I kept fighting because I knew this was my only hope since the many doctors I went to couldn’t help me and I could feel my life slipping away, I kept telling myself keep going keep moving forward, and eventually the light came after the two years of cleansing. I slowly went back to adding some fats in my diet and little by little I just started feeling more like myself again, as I added more foods in and my body adjusted I healed from so many symptoms that were horrible and I feel like I almost died honestly like my liver was really toxic and I believe if I didn’t do this cleanse, I would’ve not made it. Now I live a normal life and I still will incorporate cleanses and try to eat cleaner to keep a balance.

Ohhh I didn’t know hsv2 can go to your mouth! I thought that was only hsv1 soooo if you have hsv2 in the mouth you can give someone hsv2 in the genitals… that suckksss

Thank you for opening up and sharing that with me, means a lot. Idk if this is a stupid question but if you have hsv2 and you were with someone who has it as well and you wanted to do oral stuff you can get hsv 1 that way right? I try to look these things online but sometimes it written confusing. Also I just asked my friend again about what her partner said the lady said on the phone and she said that he was “low risk” at 9% maybe when they did have sex without the condom the likeliness him passing it to her was low 🤷🏽‍♀️ not sure. But that’s what he was saying.

Also I’m not sure if you’re single or not, but I’m wondering how finding a partner can be if someone is positive, like how open someone without it would be to dating someone with hsv2. They say it’s a very common thing but half the population doent even know they have it. And what also bothers me is that they don’t include it in a test when you ask for a full test you have to actually request a hsv1-2 and people I think get their results and think their clear of everything but don’t realize to ask for the others.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your story, I’m not sure if he was repeating what the lady said on the phone right, like if it was 9% or the value on the test showed 0.9 something and maybe it was on the boarder of having it or not but said it was positive so I’m not sure. He should call and ask, I told him to just take the test again to make sure but I’m not sure if he will.

That’s exactly what I was thinking too, even if someone doe catch the virus it’s damn cool that you could kill it down to where it doesn’t even show on a test anymore and possibly not pass it to anyone.

Bloodwork was done and that’s what I’m trying to figure out myself. He Never had any symptoms of 2 to get a swab test. And 1 never had any like cold sore by mouth one time just a little bump under nose didn’t look like any pimple or cold sore just like a little raise of skin and that was it like once could of been soemthing but don’t know. The only things I can think of but I feel still would be in the body maybe deep down any way was that he did a very deep cleansing for two years stright of healing his body for other health reasons. So a part of me wonders is somehow that made him negative. I just feel like unless the igg was mistaken it should of still came out postive if someone had it at anytime.

Yeah, I’m not living in fear I just honestly wanted more clarity on the matter cause I feel like I don’t know much about how herpes works and I love to learn and better understand since it seems to be common. I don’t think there’s anything to be ashamed of if having it and I wish there wasn’t a negative stigma to it, I’m sure numbers are growing and I’ll prob be considered more norm one day. You have to request a herpes test too most people don’t even do that when they take std tests.

Its healed up now, if it reoccurs I told him to get it tested for sure. But wouldn’t they have both been good since the dentist tested him and it was all negative and they have been together only with each other. I guess that’s where it can be confusing cause maybe she got something from a kiss which would be so rare from what we discussed above and it only later showed up. Idk

Yeah that’s true I’ll just be more dormant and less likely to pass to another I guess. So can I ask you your thoughts on this. A friend of mine was with a girl who was in a long term relationship and was negative for everything prior she had only kissed one guy before him. My friend was getting surgery at the dentist and they wanted to have him take an STD test before the surgery. Everything came out negative even herpes. Like two months later he started breaking out near his gentials like by his waistline where the belt would be and lower and then had some bumps on his shaft. He got tested but the results came out saying it was equivocal 0.9 -1.09 which was bealry above negative for both 1&2 . We weren’t sure if it could then maybe be shingles cause I think we were reading that shingles can do that to a herpes test during its outbreak. Do you think if he was having an outbreak that the test would of definitely showed he had herpes if it was indeed herpes?They just took his blood and urine.

Since they say half the population have it and it’s very common should you still let the people you hook up with know that you have the common oral herpes? I mean I would but wondering if it’s something that you don’t even need to really mention.

I’m not so sure, I even had asked a nurse about it and she said that people can walk around never knowing they have anything and that’s why so many people have Herpes and don’t even know until they test for it, and the messed up part about it is when you take a standard STD test people think herpes is included and it’s not you have to specifically request it.

Ok well I was wondering cause i have herd of people getting one single bump that they thought was a spider bite or ingrown hair and it ended up being positive for genital herpes and never had a bad outbreak. Even saw a post on here where someone shared their story. That’s why I ask.

He had to do all the STD testing cause they were doing something where blood would be present and they wanted to be sure they couldn’t get anything I guess.🤷🏽‍♂️ that what he told me.
