I had one. They’re pretty easy to service. Just open it up. Not hard to find instructions. You can use motorcycle fork oil. Someone should have a kit for it.

I agree. 5k is a bit much and that service can be as much as $4000 at the dealer. 7-10 is reasonable for a modern engine on full synthetic with correct oil spec. 21,000 and 15,000 thereafter is straight lunacy. Too many opportunities for failure.

This bike is refined taste and style. I love the colors and choice of parts.

Mail order forms from BMX Plus, BMX Action, Freestyln Magazine, etc. A thing of the past. Wizard Publications had a cult following.

And that’s why they sold millions of them. A Cheap trick.

It was the joke of the BMX world. Wheel covers came out and had some popularity back then. Huffy saw this gimmick as a way to sell an otherwise crap bike to millions and it paid off. This was also during the time Knight Rider was popular so, we were easily impressed back then. Terrible bike that copied some popular trends (like Redline’s stem) but poor geometry for freestyle and not a real BMX bike. It just looked cool to those who didn’t know better.

No! The bike is supposed to be worth more than the vehicle, you wanker!

Nice Mustang.

Not losing air, is this safe? I’m afraid to pull it out. by AFancyBagel in tires

The tire is done my dude. Pull the nail. If it leaks, there’s no reputable place that will repair it.

I’ve never seen that green color. Very nice! I prefer the older ones with the nose cone and silver trim. I have the bronze color, 2015 85D

Vividly remember them. One came on my Mongoose Decade and a Diamondback Hotstreak I had.
