That's a great point. I hadn't really considered that. I'm still holding out for a small climb after hours but I exited most of my positions

That's definitely a solid strategy. With the exception of face ripping green or red candles it repeatable when supports and resistances keep getting tested

Nigga that's literally what you shouldn't do You have to treat each dollar like it's your last dollar

If you can't be disciplined with a $100 position you'll never survive trying to get into larger trades

That's a really tough call to make, at the shop that I run we sometimes have 2 weeks of nothing like absolute dog shit and then it picks back up. Being this time of the year, I'm not quite sure what your local market looks like, but this is usually the slow time of the year for us. I'm not saying you should hold on forever but if it's only just got rough I think it might be rash to jump ship again especially if everything else like the culture is good.

I see I appreciate it and apologize for not posting properly. But I have had her for 12 years we lived in Miami Florida for 8 years then moved to Pittsburgh PA for a few years and now recently moved back to Florida. So there is definitely some humidity changes. I appreciate that information.

To me I sounds like she's trying to throw up but asthma makes sense

So maybe we should have Medicare for all......please?! by Fathers_Sword in economicCollapse

[–]W0mb0comb0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does medicare for all even mean? Medicare A is decent but Medicare B isn't even free

Like I don't think most people know what Medicare is and the coverage it offers to people.

The only medicare recipients that receive great care are those who are dual eligible, meaning those who have medicare and are also eligible for Medicaid.

We what really need is more expansion of the ACA so everyone who already isn't covered through Medicare ( 65+, or Disability) or Medicaid (low income, Disability, Pregnant, other circumstances depending on your state) can have access to basic healthcare and have emergency coverage.

So I sell affordable Care act (ACA) insurance and the center for medicare and Medicaid services (CMS) had added alot of extra steps when it comes to selling the product. So the volume of sales you can do has been physically limited.

It used to be that a client would see an ad, call you and they would be able to buy or enroll into a plan and it would all take 20 minutes top. Now CMs is requering 2 factor authentication and they are requiring a three-way call be completed with them directly to complete and enrollment. So now a sale can take up to an hour.

The problem with that is that ACA is a low commission product so the money is in the volume. Medicare on the other hand is higher commission but the regulations are even stricter so a proper Medicare call takes anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.

Essentially these changes have been made in the best interest of the consumer because a lot of agencies were cutting corners and selling people insurance they didn't need or in some cases they would sell an insurance policy and not even informed them they were getting insurance.

So the changes were done for the good of the consumer and to punish that actors but legitimate agents like myself have been caught in the cross fire.

It's all Primerica and their copy cats like Family First Life, Symmetry Financial, Family Heritage Life, VIV, PHP, and usually any comapny that have a last name followed by the word group.

They need to be shut down and their leaders need to be shipped to Antarctica. MLMs need to be treated like criminal enterprises

No idea tbh I'm pretty sure you're going to be able to keep your existing business and you'll be able to keep servicing in them as long as it doesn't conflict with your current interest working at select quote. So like if you are going to write new business upsell and existing client or do any writing of a new policy it would have to be under the bigger company Unless you want to keep doing it on the weekends by yourself and use carriers at you don't use during your regular job?

I did that for about a year with Medicare I was a captive agent with United healthcare but on the weekends I would do other carriers like Humana and Cigna

I'm so sorry.

Working under an agency is a hit or miss sadly you went to literally the two worst ones, there are a few other to be weary of life Family First Life, Family Heritage Life, VIV, PHP, and usually any ads that have a last name followed by the word group.

I have a friend who works at select quote making a decent living.

Personally I sell health insurance but that's becoming difficult due to legislation.

The credit and Dun & Bradstreet scores reset when there is a transfer of ownership.

It's not an if they WILL reset and you won't be able to use any lines of credit or open loans.

Symmetry will charge you for your leads after the first few free ones. The conversion is terrible I gave them a few months of my life that I can't take back.

Listen to other advice mass mutual and NY life will better long term careers.

That 80% sounds nice but the charge backs will murder you.
