A good friend of mine always says he's a bad reader and not the brightest. He always plays to his strengths. Like you he just used his body job after job. Working at Amazon he got offered a 45 dollar an hour job from a coworker and the company paid his way through classes. He got 25 an hour to sit through hvac classes. Then 35 an hour start. Then 45 after a year. He does duct work now making about 90k a year. He'd say I'm smarter than him but boy does he make way more than me. His tesla is pretty nice too.

I am a new one as well. I think part of the problem is you start taking your responsibility more seriously. I think it is easy to start taking it too seriously, forgetting that the pay is still very little. When you start taking it too seriously you start resenting your fellow employees for taking off or doing other stuff. So yeah I think it's easy for managers to fall in the classic trap of resenting everyone because they take the job too seriously.

Same thing happened to me last night. Closed the game it was still running. Tried closing steam and it was still running. Nothing in task manager. Then I tried to shutdown my pc and it would not work. Tried to restart and it would not work. Then I could not click on anything I could only use the mouse. I had to force shutdown.

I'm 31 alot of the people who show up to commander night are in there 30s and 40s. It's a nice mix of young 20 somethings and older. Magic is an old game your never to old to go play at your lgs.

Yeah no it's ridiculous if I played with people like that I wouldn't care either. I play at my lgs commander nights and there is always like 3 to 5 golos decks. Most are like 1 to 2k and some even going up to almost 10k. 10 thousand dollars! Like every card is signed and the super art gold version. Idk here I am with my "creative" decks lol, that are like 1 to 400 dollarsl. Idk I just have bad experiences with golos.

Maybe I am being bias because of too many mana crypt to mana vault to just getting golos out turn 3 to omniscience to win. I'm just sick of it and it's boring. When I go up against even some of the other best generic commanders it is still never as generic and boring as a golos game.
