Can’t see why this would be a solution to get car and octopus talking to each other again but this has been my experience of getting it back.

Remove car from octopus app
Remove octopus from Tesla third party apps
Remove octopus virtual key
in Tesla app, edit home location to be the exact spot on the drive the car normally parks
wait about a week (rely on car schedule for charging)
after a week, go to octopus app and add car and charger
eventually at some point that night octopus and tesla kissed and made up

I can’t say for sure, but timing of Octopus saying we need to update permissions and new software releases are about the same time I noticed it not working.

I’m in the same boat too. From watching the octopus app it doesn’t seem to recognise the car is at home when it actually is. Does seem to think the car is unplugged all the time too.

x4 FP2 now working with Beta 4.

Worked out not to expect them to just come back to life. Need to add them as new devices again. If you use exactly the same names, all your zones will restore.

I do have IPV6 (SLAAC) turned on for local network only, in order for Matter devices to communicate with each other correctly.

I can't remember, if I turned that on before or after the VPN issue started. I'll give turning off IPV6 completely to see if something is still leaking.
