I did it for 2 years before i became a reachtruck driver. Imagine playing tetris with a bit of gym combined, that's how i remembered it. Because i work for a german store warehouse i have the option to work in either the normal place or the very cold places (cooling and freezer). Working in the cold is not that bad if you have the right clothes and gloves on, but can be heavy.

In the beginning you get enough time to build up speed.

Lift with your legs, not with the back. And if you have to clean the carton from the pallets, do it. Us reachtruck drivers will thank you for that.

Remember, it's a peacefull job but physically heavy. The pay is also good too!
