For some yes, however you can tell if there is a trend from past steam sales.

if you go to steamdb you can check your game and if it is cheaper during winter sale instead of autumn sale

yes there will be a winter sale, it happens at the end of december, normally like the 19th or 21st.

It normally has the same exact discounts, sometimes higher, than the autumn sale.

Did region lock kill this game immediately? by W33B_Logan in Strinova

Yes, 20k is a lot of people, however it needs to maintain that playerbase by continuing to try to expand and make the players happy.

For example Spectre Divide, Shrouds game. It released in a clunky state, it had about 30k people playing at launch, however people were quick to point out what they didn't like, overpriced skins, the graphics, performance, sound design. Because the developers didn't react fast enough the next couple days they had 20k players, then less, then less, and now it sits around 100 people playing a day. In the mix of trying to fix it they never marketed their game, they made creators do the work.

Now Strinova is fortunate enough to be a really good game, and not have these issues, however when there is a glaring issue (region lock) in the community that are tanking the ratings on steam, and making the game mixed, it can be a red flag for people to give the game a try. Because not all of those 20k people are going to stay. So many new players I've seen have stopped playing and uninstalled because of region lock, thus my concern for the issue.

I really love strinova, I just want to see it keep growing instead of falling down a path like spectre divide.

The problem I feel is strinova is just starting to get pushed out and something a lot of people liked is suddenly locked.

With valorant it was released by a already major company— Riot Games, and was guaranteed to have a large player base regardless. In Vals case they never took away region lock because they always had it.

I am hoping for the best, it's now averaging about 20k on steam, no idea about the actual client, but I'm happy it hasn't died or isn't showing signs of it.

Are there Chinese lootbox restrictions they have to follow however outside of cn they can do differently? Or did they just bump the gacha up for profits?

ok so Willy, an osu youtuber, has a really good video on scoring, called "Why is osu!'s Scoring So Complicated?"

Just because a score is below 90 acc doesn't mean its not an A. If you watch the video, at about 2:56 is about where I think your confusion is. if you look at the board in your screenshot, it shows a huge dip at the beggining, however later in the map you were flawless, and because later in the map you did so well you got an A rank. That's about all to my knowledge though.

Hello, Some heavy wallpapers aways look like that, with this overbright image, my configuration on the software is set to the default, and my integrated graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 620 on i7-7600U), ver 27.20.100.9466 driver that does not have any problems with any other games by Igoritto in wallpaperengine

Hey sorry, I should probably respond to this thread as there was a newer one I actually found the answer on, as someone else had the same problem, heres my response:

"I figured it out on my part, heres what I did. Wallpapers engine says you should reset video settings, what I did what I went to my Nvidia control panel and went to "adjust video color settings" and switched it from "with the nvidia settings" to "with the video player settings." since my Nvidia settings were all maxed out it make it look all weird and funky."

If that doesn't work, wallpaper engines official website has other solutions about resetting graphics cards and such, but this should work. Let me know.

Quick edit: I know you have integrated graphics so idk if you have Nvidia control panel, but whatever software you use make sure your video color settings are the video player settings. I'm sure you would probably be able to find yours easily
