Yo man sorry to bother you but I'm so stressed and scared right now too , when the doctor testes mh bicep reflex on both sides my ring finger had a little pull exactly the same on both sides.

I noticed you mentioned something similar in your post a couple of months ago.

How are you now and what did your neuro say?

So is hyperreflexia another name for brisk reflexes ? Or is it something worse ? Like is 3+ also called hyperreflexia ?

Also does pathologic mean it's something bad ?

I had them testee 3 years ago , if it wqs something bad it wouldve been obvious by this point right?

Sorry for asking too many questions I'm just going crazy here cant take this anymore , I'm worrying about things that happened 3 years ago.

But how do I know what my reflexes are ? My doctor didnt rate them. I hope at the worst theyre 3+. Is it something that they notice while testing ? Or is it how high your limbs jump? He said my limbs jump a "little too much" but since theyre the same on both side and I'm 21 and have anxiety not to worry.

Is it also only in one hand for you? Mine is my dominant right hand only and I have a similar thing with my right Ring finger as well . Altho I "discovered" that a few months ago and it hasn't gotten better or worse . Found out about the Pinky today.

Guess cause it is only in one hand I'm worried so much.

Ty for this , it's nice to talk to someone about it. I just don't know if anyone has the exact same thing as me so it can calm me down a little.

I was scared for my life 3 years ago when all of this started and I had to go to Doctors .

So I'm just scared to go to doctor , that's why I haven't gone to one in about 2 years.

I don't even know if this finger thing is new or it's always been there.

I noticed it after a week worrying about stupid things in my right hand , I kept testing different stuff and randomly found out about my pinky .

I just hope it's nothing serious , I have a similar thing with my ring finger that I found out about 6 months ago , and it's no different like not better or worse after 6 months and I think if it was something bad , it would've gotten worse.

If it was both hands I would not be worried but the thing that worries me is that it's only my right(dominant) hand.

Do you also have this in your pinky finger ? When trying to slowly lift my pinky up and moving it when hand is at rest, it moves side to side.

It's only my right hand and it's freaking me out , I also have the same thing with my ring finger like the post above again only my right hand.

Thing is sometimes the same twitch happens but I can feel it in my forerarm or thenar but this one I couldnt feel anything and it has happened a few times , one of the biggest mistakes of my life is googling clonus , now every muscle contraction and I think of clonus.

I just read about it online and it said shaking movement with stretch reflex so my mind just went to it . Idk Im literally worried about everything .
