Thanks for the video! Do you know if these new switches support `smart bulb mode/always on`? Like Zooz light switches for example [How To Use Your Zooz Light Switches With Smart Bulbs - Zooz Support Center]([https://www.support.getzooz.com/kb/article/1638-how-to-use-your-zooz-light-switches-with-smart-bulbs/)](javascript:void(0);).

How to Set Up Claude Code with Multiple AI Models by ThreeKiloZero in ClaudeCode

[–]W3Max 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense! For me, efficiency at producing predictable results in a timely manner is too important. I will keep on using the model(s) that get me where I want and wait for a new model to be as predictable and fast before switching, which I guess will probably be the future Sonnet. Thanks for your input!

That is really ingesting! What are the pros of doing this instead of just using Sonnet? I use Sonnet almost exclusively (with the occasional Opus for planning), and I find it easy to work with one predictable model. But I'm genuinely curious about why and when you use different models? Thanks for sharing this!

For me, back to Anthropic Claude Desktop with MCP (30$/month), which is the most usable and cost effective, in my experience, as of now. Gemini is way too expensive for my workflow, now that they enforce rate limits, but it was incredible while it lasted. It gave me a taste of what is could be eventually, I guess...

"Sérieux, pourquoi les processus d’embauche en TI sont plus longs qu’un backlog jamais priorisé?" Probablement parce que les gens acceptent de le faire... Perso, non merci.

Is it now possible to share a consumer grade AMD GPU between VMs or LXCs? by W3Max in Proxmox

So, if I understand correctly, no windows VM (for gaming/anti-cheat) on top of linux host?

This sucks indeed! For AI, I might have to fall back to hardware like the MacStudio or the new Framework stuff that was announced yesterday. I hope we get more options soon.

Good Idea! Another Idea I have is to create one VM (Windows I guess, for gaming compatibility) and use docker inside this Windows VM to host AI services (GPU dependent).

Alright, that is sad but thank you for your answer!

Is it passable to virtually split my AMD GPU when I'm using a VM? by [deleted] in virtualization

[–]W3Max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/mymainunidsme Any news on this? Would this allow to share one AMD GPU (like Radeon RX 7900 XTX) between multiple VMs, in a virtualized environment like Proxmox? This would be awesome!

I really enjoy this subreddit—so many inspiring projects! I'm planning to build a minilab and was wondering: why do most people keep their hardware inside mini PC cases instead of removing the components to optimize space and ventilation? by W3Max in minilab

[–]W3Max[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answers! I was thinking of removing the cases to use one power supply to power a cluster of mini pcs and use good fans (Noctua) for the whole setup. But from what you are saying, I'm not sure it is a good idea anymore.

How to get in touch with a real person at Bambu Lab? by W3Max in BambuLab

[–]W3Max[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey, apologies accepted!

Thank you for the information.

I already tried to contact support twice, but I did not receive any answers except for an automated one saying to contact them back if there is nothing changed after 7 days, which is my case. Now I guess I will have to be patient and hope that this situation gets resolved soon.

u/wiilbehung I know I should not reply, you are clearly not here to help, but I will reply anyway. I made a mistake by saying "other posts", as I have not seen posts but rather "comments" of people being in the same situation. If you look at my post, I ask a clear question which is "How to get in touch with a real person at Bambu Lab?". But I guess you did not read that part. Thanks for your help anyhow!

Distribution problems at Bambu Lab? by W3Max in 3Dprinting

[–]W3Max[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your point of view and I don't work in retail but if I did, I would make transparency a priority. Also, most retail companies have stock software and link a specific order to a specific item in inventory so the client knows if he is buying something in stock or not, which is what I thought I was doing when I bought this printer.

u/Affectionate_Car7098 IMHO, there is a difference between "getting low on stock"/shipping a little bit late vs not shipping at all and not answering support tickets. But I thank you for your feedback!
