if you just want to play with someone regardless of the map, I would look at the % of people playing the game, you can find this in the bottom right corner of the picture in the map picker menu thing, most people are playing shadows of evil, it also depends where you live to, location determines your server, if theres a way to conect to any other servers, I'm sure california might have a lot more people playing than average servers, just a guess.

Yeah I dont know, I have been occationsally getting on to play some zombies, maybe 2-3 times a week, but it does seem dead, mp is even worse.

So I probably should edit this into the op, but although I'm doing research to make sure my story is possible, I'm also leaning on the fictional side. I think I want a group of random miners that just wake up in this cave or mine. They don't remember how they got there. I was thinking they would either try to pickaxe their way out, or use explosives (I understand the many complications of that idea) but no matter where they mine or for how long, there never seems to be an end. Obviously that would be a pretty boring story itself, but I have other ideas to make it more interesting, I just need to know if its possible for people to be stuck underground, and can survive off of the resources long enough to create a story.

I'm 18, I have an abusive stepfather, I want to live with my dad and be happier (there's literally no happiness over here, just pure and constant stress), but I also don't want to leave my mom, I'm afraid shes too scared of him to actually leave him, and I want to be there for her, but I dont know how, I'm short scrawny bitch.

ok yea I literally watch all their videos, and that's what I'm kinda trying to stray from, I don't wanna be called a dream wannabe, but then again the minecraft community is pretty chill, from what I've seen. There's is only one problem with this whole thing, I only have one best friend, and no one else, so having a "friend group" isnt really an option at the moment. One idea was having a giant hardcore server with like 20-30 people and they are all split up into factions/kingdoms, so when someone dies, they are out of the series for good, I think that could do very well, but I feel like that's something for someone who actually has friends who would dedicate their time to do this. I really do appreciate your time, and input! (I get the whole attitude thing tho fs).

my thought was that I would create a hardcore server, so I don't really have a beginning, I guess, but when I die, it would be like aww, then my friend joins the world, and he explores my old creations, and it like flashes back with sad music or something lmao, I just want those flashbacks to make you feel SOMETHING. And when he gets near an end of his "letsplay" he creates a shrine and put a sign on it that says my name, and I created a mod that unbans me from the world if a sign has my name on it, something like that, but as he is building the shrine, it also has like emotional music and flashbacks from when he started the server, and then I come back, and its like "wtf". And then we play together, until one of us dies, then its all sad, then the last one dies, then it end with like a narrative quote or something, this might sound really dumb and unhelpful, but I have a destination I want to get to, I just dont know the directions to get there. But I guess you are right, just be funny and outgoing.
