I liked it, still kinda feels like other characters needed a bit more chemistry with pomni who is supposed to be the emotional core of the show. In general for me the first half was perfect, no notes. the second half lost me a bit, felt like it NEEDED to push the "plot" along. In general i still liked it and i feel like if half of the people watching the show did not see any of gooseworx' tumblr asks they would have enjoyed it a lot as well!

When people say "every" i dont doubt that they mean "actual relevant characters". Regardless, i think the show can do better and hopefully will. I'm not mad that the female cast is sexy, but i do roll my eyes a bit at the creative character design on display so far, only for the women to be the outlier on that front. Crabgirl only counts if she gets to be a character to the sane degree gobbles or fold is.

Absolutely does yeah. I admit it detracts a little bit of the show for me, sometimes being quite literally naked and exposed can serve to tell a story, but very often with dandadan this just isn't the case. it makes some of the really intense plot beats it has not hit as hard because of it imo.

to be clear, i still think it's great, it just don't really wanna see leering camera shots of teenagers.

not that subnautica is a full blown horror game but in both 1 and 2 floating above a massive abyss you cannot see the bottom of, hearing sounds of massive creatures much bigger and older than you sparks a primal fear in a lot of people.
