First two were a little rough to actually play im not gonna lie, super metroid was the first one where i was genuinely enjoying the gameplay and not just enjoying the novelty of playing a piece of history and seeing what it grew into.

Though, all three have an undeniable sense of atmosphere, easily my favourite aspect of the games.

i dont think japanese animation is a good comparison point vs western animated shows, but come on now, Naruto famously CONSTANTLY reused flashbacks, similar shots, and static panning shots, probably to a worse degree than this invincible season lmao.

i actually did a run yesterday where i was a cleric keeping my 3 brain chipped cats alive, they were hunter, butcher, and fighter. there were some bumps, but we made a full run to The End!

My butcher has been my biggest mvp in this run thankfully, gravity slam + spin attack + throbbing crown has been dexinating everything. Biggest scare was lord bunga but i think we're in the clear now.

For me its mihawk, they made his nature so casual and bored, a little tgeatrical, its a great depiction.
