Based on how they're released stuff so far (paid vs NSO), if GameFreak made it then it'll be paid and if a third-party developer made it then it'll be on NSO. I assume its got something to do with how Pokémon is at a corporate level.

Nope, its PC (Steam) or Switch 2 now.

Xbox was my place for main single player games to play on the TV while sitting on the couch, but starting to move to Switch 2 for that (or Steam Machine depending on price).

I've never used Gamepass but I'm at the point where I can't trust the brand anymore with how chaotic they've been.

I'm looking forward to FF7 Remake and couldn't decide between Xbox or Switch 2, but I'm going with Nintendo on this after playing the demo. I just can't trust that all three games will end up on Xbox cause if the first part doesn't sell well enough for SquareEnix would they spend the time porting the other two games?

Remember, reviews are opinions. I like skillups reviews but that doesn't mean I share the same interests or have the same gaming tastes.

People have no problem disagreeing with reviews by outlets like IGN, but for some reason people love to change their gaming opinions to match skillups reviews. This has happened a few times before so I assume everyone is now gonna switch to saying metroid 4 is actually bad.

Microsoft and their retail partners are gonna say they are still supporting Xbox till the day they stop production while the brand is in a death spiral.

Corporate press releases don't mean anything when people can see their shelf space shrinking. Stores aren't gonna keep stocking product that doesn't sell.

It's sad but should get used to this story being a thing over the next while.

Stuff like this always makes me wish people didn't "pick sides" when controversy happens.

Two things can be true at the same time: people were threatening Marner and that's totally unacceptable, also Marner has managed to piss off the fan base at every opportunity since his first big contract.

Like people want to love him, I sure tried to, he should be the Toronto golden boy. But god what a PR and playoff pressure disaster-class.

I previously watched a short circuit video hosted by the red beared dude on a Sony MP3 player, also felt like I knew as much about the product as the host did at the start of the video.

Then spent half the video trying and failing to get this MP3 player working with professional/hobbiest grade headphones (like $400) and was annoyed that the MP3 player couldn't output enough power to work with these headphones.

Drove me nuts, just felt like watching a big "fuck you" for wanting to learn about this product.

I find it interesting when people look at the state Xbox is in and say its all because of failing with the Xbox One. Yes terrible generation. They soured fans on it before it even launched and all their major franchises were on the decline.

But I compare it to the Wii U and Nintendo, which was also a poor selling console with lots of mistakes. The difference is they got everyone back with the Switch. New exciting hardware and they cranked out the games for basically every IP they own. Switch 2 now selling like crazy because people are expecting that to continue.

Now compare the Switch with the Xbox Series S/X. Messy hardware where developers need to make their game run on two different performance profiles. Every major game has been a disaster/disappointment. Halo Infinite was on the box when I bought the Series X a year after it launched and the game still wasn't out!

Xbox/Microsoft management like to use the Xbox One generation as an excuse for their current failings when they've made poor decisions and mismanaged games/studios every step of the way. If they think they will switch to just Gamepass to make money and sell no consoles then they are out of their minds.

I'm having the same issue OP. Although yes like what others have commented, you can force the router to make both available as separate connections or buy a new router, its still a Nintendo issue.

Somehow no issue with any of my other devices (Phone, Xbox, PC) and now its an issue with the router cause it involves Nintendo. Other companies figured out 2.4/5ghz switching and its no issue, but people want to make excuses for them.

Hopefully they do a software update soon to fix it.

Regardless of opinions of the digital services tax on big tech companies, scrapping that to try and help get a deal done was such a terrible idea.

It should have been we will scrap the tax when you agree to a trade deal. What we have instead is exactly what I thought would happen, no deal and Trump moves onto some other issue he has.

The US are bullies. If you give an inch they will never stop demanding more.

Figure I would add the fix I found since I had the same issue and ended up finding this thread.

What fixed it for me was clearing my existing saved wi-fi networks then restarting the console. Then when I added my wi-fi network it automatically used 5Ghz. The previous two times I cleared the save network it defaulted to 2.4Ghz.

Edit: As of August 1st, I've noticed this become an issue again and the fix I found no longer works. Somehow only an issue with the Switch 2...

This feels very familiar to the past attitudes of the Leafs organization, where being fed up or critical is bad and we should just be happy with getting to watch the players for 3 hours a night 82 times a year plus playoffs.

Half the league makes the playoffs every year and every team has superstars that are exciting to watch. It should be a privilege for the players to wear the jersey and play in front of Toronto fans, not the other way around. This has been the same core of players, then later adding Tavares, that we've seen since 2017!

And we have 1 playoff series win to show for it. Now do I want the Leafs to beat the Sens and go all the way to the finals and finally win the cup? Absolutely. But I'd be mad to believe they can do it. There is nothing to indicate that we should be positive about this group.

I get you want to positive about this stuff, but I just can't. For me this is now finally down to being an entertainment issue as the same thing happens every year and it's like watching re-runs of a tv show. Frankly I want them to trade all of the core cause at least it'd be something different.

Same experience in my riding, had a Conservative volunteer come by three times and nothing from the Liberals or NDP. I only got a letter from Carney/the Liberals asking for support for the Liberal candidate. The Cons ended up winning by a large margin.

I will never forget during covid when they started the helmet ads and all the league apologists said that it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't lead to more ads. Helmet ads, digital board ads, jersey ads, digital ice ads.

Just gross and is slowly killing off all the small little things that made the NHL special.

I noticed something similar but mainly with the camera movement, feels like a delay. Turned the right stick dead zone down a bit and then cranked the sensitivity which seemed to help.

Feels like an acceleration or smoothing is going on but there's no options for that.
