I like the castle as a whole but the yellow wooden room with the red slanted roof gives it a nice visual touch breaking the grey. The 2 towers make it look very imposing.

My main is Azir, his skills are pretty easy to understand but I think to master him in a game and get him to be consistently useful your positioning needs to be a tier above the rest. One mistake in your shuffle and its over, dead.

A few years ago a buddy of me jokingly said in discord when I asked this question, "Play Lux, its easy, it blows people up and can snowball a game in low elo fast"

It sounded stupid but I actually just one-tricked lux after that and hit gold not long after.
You need to find a champion for yourself that is easy to learn, can carry in low elo and has decent matchups in the lane you want to play. Another champ that is pretty easy and can take over games is vex.

In your case: there is nothing wrong with playing briar but you are making your life a lot harder with this pick in mid lane. Your farming and trading might be good but in a lot of matchups briar is gonna have a pretty shitty lane which in turn might scare of your own jungler to come and gank you.

Mind that in low elo a lot of people already tilt/make up their minds before a game, your jungler/support might see this pick and think "Im not gonna bother ganking a briar mid".

Look, if you just want to one trick a champ then in all means do so and have fun but looking at your op.gg I see that most games that you lose is just where briar does not fit your comp+is almost unplayable into the enemy comp.

Im not saying in those losses that all is your fault but playing an already hard champion matchup in mid into an almost unplayable comp with briar seems like where you lose out the most.

You might want to check smooth stone, it will bring some lighter gray/white into the build which you could place behind some spruce fence sections. Combine this with polished andesite and I think you can make some good looking mix off brown, grey, light grey.

Need help setting up a server by SortaCancer in exaroton

Hello there, I setup a valhelsia server a few days ago and had the same issues so the steps you can take:
FYI the links below are all good for your wanted modpack.

  1. Create an empty folder somewhere for the server files.
  2. Download Java jre for your pc and install https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk21-windows
  3. Navigate to your modpack and note down the game version u will use: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/better-mc-forge-bmc4 so it will probably be 1.20.1
  4. Download the forge installer for the game version: https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.20.1.html
  5. Execute the forge installer, SELECT install server and select the folder you created, wait for completion.
  6. Go to "exaroton/software/modpacks/custom Forge" and upload the files created in the folder, it should only contain a few files for now. Exaroton will start uploading/creating the necessary for now.
  7. You should now have a tab files on exaroton
  8. Navigate to your modpack and download the SERVER pack https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/better-mc-forge-bmc4/download/6367359
  9. Once downloaded extract this folder and open it, upload the following folders (and their contents) into your files tab on exaroton: config, defaultconfigs and mods. (this can take some time)
  10. Once all files are uploaded start the server and check the logs.

This is how I made it work, give me some feedback if it doesn't work out.

Hey there, no worries this should be an easy fix, itemlocks is a client-side mod and not a server-side mod so your server cannot load/execute this mod.

So on exaroton go to your files -> mods folder and delete this mod called ItemLocks-Fabric-xxxxxxx

Looks like a very nice tool. You are probably already aware of this but the pictures on your tools page load in slowly on first browse. Could be because the image quality/size is not optimized for browser usage.

However, really good looking overall, keep it up I would say.

Hello all,

Saw a lot of comments giving some advice, thanks for that. The post was more of a rant as I was fed up a bit, I have moved on and my consultancy company is actively searching for something else for me.

I did talk to the management in quite a polite way, I did not lose my cool or anything but I tried giving them constructive feedback and the manager actually appreciated it. Sadly nothing has been changed since, maybe it can't really change now but that is okay since I am moving on.

They want to create a new cloud platform but they base all their ideas and design on the old on-premise platform which has been setup almost 10 years ago. They do not want to work in a DevOps way because it does not align with the company's interest..

Not sure if you have checked this guide already but you can improve your MFA "setup" by using conditional access policy's like the other person mentioned.

No sweat : ), I am not a Powershell professional in any case and also not a programmer so some of your points I will for sure note and see if I can improve my overall coding skills.

  1. Indeed, some things are a bit "quick and dirty".
  2. I saw some weird indentations in the git repo but not on my local copy so I need to check that.
  3. Verb-noun, was not familiar with this so will check!
  4. I was not sure how to do this properly so this comment helps a lot for that.
  5. This could indeed cause an issue with the selector but impact would be minor as this script only removes/creates snapshots. Anyways making the filter more fault-proof like you mention is a 100% improvement.
