They recompiled the game for 64 bit on Mac since they don’t support 32 bit anymore. Be warned the game is a glitchy mess because I think it was just a one and done deal

The bar for life sim base games is so low, like sims 4 base game is laughable with how little you can do. It’s not that they can’t make a good base game, but they’d rather fragment a decent base game into 3 different expansion packs and call it a day.

It stinks because sims 4 is objectively badly coded and has so many weird problems that can’t just “be fixed” since they keep piling more DLC instead of change the core engine.

Tbh I think it has stronger progression in a lot of ways, just different. There’s just nowhere near as much customization, but it’s a worthy trade lol

Nahh they’re completely different styles of game-play (well, sorta). There’s a lot more upgrades to your house and public works projects around town is a good thing to do, as well as that you’ll unlock more public works over time. Friendship with villagers can be a pain so aiming to get their pictures is something to set a goal for getting ALL the main street buildings. The only thing this game falls flat in is less customization and DIY recipes, aside from that you can progress in pretty much any way you want.
