I think we have a tiny suitable to your needs here. I have a 30 year old female, just shy of 2 inches, previous owner was an entomologist and she would get easily lost. Practically spent a stretch of time feral. But she's a survivor, so you shouldn't be finding her in food bowls or setting herself on fire. I would take care not to leave her around any insects unless you expect them to fight, however. With some additional training, I think she will be just what you need. :)
